If Doueihi takes the field this week (I'm praying he doesn't), he is set to lose between $10-25k... As long as he scores over 5, it shouldn't hurt too much. I'm trying to save the trade atm so convincing myself to hold him until next week

I'm getting rid of Doohicky and I will buy him back if ARey gets a prolonged stint on the sidelinesPain wrote:
Righto. ARey stays.
Doueihi can become JFH with some cash i have.
Adds another cow to my paddock.
Whitehead also going and JFH is definitely coming in this week
deciding the second trade is giving me a headache!
I can get anyone in cow or gun
problem position is CTRs with GI, Isaako and Kennar options, also 3rd WFB position with JMK currently starting
Can switch Mbye up to FB and bring in a half?

Would he had even made the field without ARey going knocked about?Rapture_NRL wrote:If Doueihi takes the field this week (I'm praying he doesn't), he is set to lose between $10-25k... Inglis and Griffin > Moylan and JFH.
Moylan means I don't have to play Croker at half and I like the look of him at FB.
Kennar slots into centre to partner Hiku which is a bit meh but I can deal with that and be my next thing to sort out in the coming weeks.
Smith
Arrow - Kikau
RFM - TPJ - JFH (the second-row double-barrel of doom)
DCE - Moylan
Hiku - Kennar
Teddy - Thompson - Ponga
Cook - Lodge - Murray - Brown
Nicholls - Havili - Doui - Croker
Good trades? Bad trades?

I really have no idea what to do.
Can do outlandish trades like lodge to tturbo. But thinking safer option Godinet to jfh is smarter. But doesn’t seem as fun

Lodge hasn't been setting the world on fire and Griffin is good for 60 mins at least. Griffin also plays round 13 so I'd be trading Lodge. People think he's only going to get better but I haven't seen that in the first 5 weeks so far. It's not entirely his fault since we are rubbish.
Surely Griffin isn't a hold for another 8 round though, I don't think origin should be factoring into it. I see both of them in the same 38-40 point range, the difference is that Griffin is already priced there and Lodge is priced at 34.

I'm going Lodge to JFH. I know he hasn't quite peaked yet, but not into these 35ish scores. JFH will make more than Lodge will make, and I'll be getting an extra 10-15 points. Griffin scored well from 60 min so he's staying on for at least a week.
So wait, Griffin scored well last week with his 38, but Lodge with his 38 average is scoring too poorly? o_O

The article I read this morning said Wighton's court case would more than likely get adjourned for some reason. Don't know what basis they have to assume that. If there is no decision tomorrow, he'll be free to play for how ever long it takes for the court proceedings to finalise I'd imagine.

Whitehead has been moved around in 4/5 games, can't keep running him when he is the first to get shifted after an injury and the Raiders are seemingly all held together with tape this year
Yeah mate, I think I'm doing the same trade. Love pimple but those reasons you said, it's too hard to count on him. The tries inflating his average is concerning too.
Gives me a week to look at the likes of Cotric, Gutho, Pearce, Moylan etc. Will have to play Maloney one more week but fuck it.
Just not sure if that bench would affect JFH, seems very forward heavy, but don't know the exact postions. Kaide Ellis is a decent lock/backrower that played big minutes in the NSW Cup last year I believe.

Easy trades, RFM to Fifita, Griffin to JFH. Bank for next week Lodge to either Surgess or Koro (depending on whether I can bear playing Maloney in the halves) then sit tight for a couple of weeks, only saved two trades so far and will need them to churn team after Round 13.
Cook
Fifita, Arrow
Harris, Murray, JFH
DCE, Maloney
Mitchell, Kennar
Tedesco, Ponga, CWalker
Kikau, TPJ, Rochow, Lodge
Havili, Nichols, Croker, Isaako

Someone posted screenshot on FB that CCTV showed Wighton taking a piss in alley and 3 guys settng on him and him taking care of all of them. 1 was off duty cop allegedly. Raiders have seen footage and backing him and it's just one journo spinning the sacking angle.
Take it as you will

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
Need to buy a half less than 760k. Fingerpuppet Mafia mentioned Koro last night but he needs the 80 mins to maintain that 50 average and I don't think I can count on that. Same problem with Matterson. I don't think either will be a keeper by the end of the season. My plan is to bring in Mbye despite his relatively high BE. Seems good for 45, and though not a keeper in the halves he probably is at WFB.
Allows me a bit more time to monitor the field so I don't jump on a Pearce or an Arey too early, and that stalling is the biggest luxury that he brings.

I dont see why a bloke who wasnt in the 17 on merit previously would affect the top 13. While Griffin can be weird.. i reckon it affects JFH none. Maybe helps

I guess the club must be confident in the evidence they have to keep backing him. Plus Ricky loves him, he'll fight tooth and nail for him.
