JFH has moved to lock with merrin to front row so has taken some of merrins minutes. He is playing injury free and having a real dig, really stands out for them i think.
Arrow is a must, high workrate, busts tackles and has an offload, 2 tries were gravy on top. I bought lolo in sportsdeck, i was away fishing and didnt see game so hard to comment on wants wrong with lolo but If you dont have arrow i think he is a must and if lolo has to go for him so be it.

Fortunately enough they haven't burned me too bad, but sooner or later I'm going to invest in a keeper.

The only way i can put off Doohey trade for a week is to play Hampton in the halves. Solid enough plan ?

Yeah there isn't really a rush on the second trade. Ideally would have liked Holmes to get cheaper too but he messed that up for both of us last week. Kinda relying on his talent to take him back up 200k with the lack of other cash cow options going around.

Only downside is if Holmes backs it up with another big game. If he doesn't there really isn't a cost to holding the trade and seeing what next week brings. Will mull it over. Thanks for the thoughts

Going to need to rely on the 18-21 to put up some points with Brown and Murray both out. The irony is that in the last couple of weeks the players I haven't played (kikau/havili/JMK) have outscored many of my playing 17. Probably all go dud this week.

If Murray is just a week and Brown is only 2 as reported, I will hold both.

Probably sticking to original plan which is Tedesco AND Gosie IN and Griffin + Douehy OUT. Unfortunately it means i have to play Gosie too though (normally would be outside 17).

Gonna be a drama if Kodi Niko is also ruled out.. I mean even if he plays he's probably banging out a 15.

Ok gents, I'm back in China with a lot of free time on my hands for the next few weeks so am happy to help out if I can. I'm keen to lend some advice and ideas. Also want to bandy a few theories about with you lot.

Hmmmmm. The two options I'm considering:

A: Issako to Katoa and Doueihi to JFH....

or...

B: Doueihi to Katoa and RFM to Fifita.

leaning towards B with Fifita being a rd13 playing keeper....but if Murray is out it would mean playing Maloney in my 17 instead of JFH (for option A)

Gonna kick things off with a few thoughts regarding our flavour of the week and a few other players.

So, with a guy like JFH (and Arrow for that matter) do we see these guys as season keepers. I'm relatively happy with my team currently but questioning the status of a few guys like JFH, RFM Kapow etc.

When talking about emerging players, what do we expect from them to cement gun/keeper status? And when talking about past guns, for how long do they get to ride the coat tails of past success before we recant their titles?

Also what’s the deal with people wanting Katoa again? The Sharks wingers have scored piss poor this season. Maybe Katoa (if he is even picked) will be a spark but he will have to go search for the ball for that to happen.

Welcome mate, always good to have another admission into the asylum!

Team is looking pretty good with a few areas that may need some attention. Obviously your halves would currently be a point of concern for you. Asides from that the only other thing that I see is Lolo underperforming and Murray out this week.

I agree that it would be nice for you to get Ponga in but I think you have more pressing issues mate. Looks like there is a possibility Niko won't play this week and Doughy is benched. I'd be looking to shore that position up first as a priority over getting another WFB in.

Oh My God, Standard! You can't just ask someone if they're a rectangle!

I don't see why everybody is so keen on getting Katoa back into their team without him playing a second game. He's not going to make a lot of money unless he scores 50 plus which i can't see happening after watching his first game (however limited it was).

Plus you don't know where he is in the peaking order with Feki and Lee even if the coach has come out and backed him...
