Too late. We're on the Thursday schedule now so we talk poolhopping now.

I know you have a moral aversion to this shrewd, smart and legal behaviour so I'll make a one time exception.

Can't go backwards so you may skip to the Friday night schedule of being 6 tins in prior to posting.

Griffin and Widdop > Taumalolo and Matterson for me. Skipping the 3 big talking points this week in Su'A, Gosiewski and Rein. The first two don't appeal to me but I am a little worried skipping Rein as I think he can score 50 without Peats around.

    Cook (c)
    Arrow, Kikau
    Taumalolo, Jurbo, RFM
    JT, Matterson
    Hiku, Aitken
    Ponga, Teddy, Thompson

    JFH, Rochow, Havili, Murray
    Lodge, JMK, Isaako, Croker

Definitely need to do something about the likes of Croker and Lodge over the next couple of weeks. If Gos/Su'A do well this week then one might be coming in for Lodge/Croker or even both.

If JT is shit again this week then I've given up on him.

There is no wait and see on Rein. He might only get a month of usefulness. Get him now or pass him by.

Best case he probably scores 50pts and goes up about 30k. Worst case could be a lot worse. I'll pass

People saying Cook will have field day. Hookers haven't scored great against Raiders yet. Last 2 Rabbits games were arm wrestles against Dragons and Roosters. Lowest tackle count 38. If it's one way traffic will need big attacking stats.

Rein will want to come out swinging. He's been looking for a full time gig for a while hence the club changes. I don't see him dethroning Peats but he will give it his all. Still undecided to trade him in, but he will be a quality scorer for a few weeks.

I envy you and your trades. Bringing in two keepers in one week always feels amazing.

No one can ever take this away from me!!!

Except DK that is, cos it's actually his if he ever gives me an address.

That is not my team name on it though so you can keep it SI.
I can make up another handy dandy DYMO tag for the Miracle Workers mate, haha.

For those who aren't aware, this is one of the reasons why we can't let people join the Overall after Round 1 lockout. Thought it might be a good opportunity to explain. ArsenalBroncos (The Far Canal) joined the League through the year and ended up being crowned the winner even though DK was the actual winner.

Anyway, it can stay in my office so I can weird new people out when they ask what the fuck it is.

I'm feeling it's almost worth trading Rein to get the quality scorer and therefore allow me to poophole TPJ and Rochow, but I'll save that talk for another thread.

I've had two really bad weeks in a row so I need to go for points this week and not cash so I don't get too far behind. I went 161st after round 4 to over 1300 after round 6...

    I'm up to a 640k chest now.

Think the trades this week have set me up for future cash gains and to try and start the guns coming in next week.

    Rochow -> Su'A
    Griffin -> Gosiewski

    Smith
    Arrow, Kikau
    JFH, Murray, RFM
    Maloney, Croker
    Hiku, Isaako
    Ponga, Tedesco, TTurbo

    Macca, Cook, Lodge, Gosiewski

    Su'a, Holmes, Nicholls, Kennar

If Rein goes well/bananas I'll go Lodge or Kennar -> Rein next week pending Peats updates (think hes a tough bugger that'll come back quicker than I hope with some injections/painkillers as per NRL physio).
Kept Lodge as I'm hoping its a grinding and wet affair at Suncorp tomorrow night and he might hit a 50 and restart some cash gen and good scores. Rated him the best short term chance over Rochow and Griffin.
Hoping SJ has a quiet game against a dominant dragons pack and can get him 100k cheaper in a few weeks. May play Kennar over Hiku this week based on this judgement too.
Got a sneaky poolhop with Su'a playing first. If he's poor. I.e. <35 I can sub Nicholls for Murray (Nicholls goes alright when one of Murray or Surgess is out/limited). If he's good I leave as is. If Murray plays I'm even happier.

Warchest has been built so I can start targeting Fifita, Brown,  SJ, DCE and Lolo in the coming weeks. Chricton/Surgess and Mannering are in the list beneath those guys but have my interest. I desperately need a half but am more H2H focused so trying to forsake some points in the hope of a cheaper buy in at half (I'll be at the broncs game so will watch Jacks closely).

Dillon 18 points in 51 minutes, wow. I know the game didn't go the Sharks way but that could be a concern.

Had a similar comparative fall mate, from 48 to 500 in  a few weeks. Pegged back 20% of that last week though  Very Happy

All I know is that he's on top of the ladder in pretty much all of my leagues (while i'm 2nd or 3rd) - even in the Titans Official league where he's 1st and I'm 6th

What if we added a feature to this forum whereby you could 'tradeout' two forum members each year ? How faaarken cool would that feel with a fantasy vibe to it !!

This is what I was expecting from teddy last week when I made him captain over Cook. That worked out well.
