Im confused. How so? If SJ and Doughy both score 0s through DNPs and you have no other halves, my understanding is that you don't get an EMG.

I don't think you do - it says that you need an "eligible player" to take the place of your starter, and as far as i'm aware a DNP isn't an eligible player (and they definitely consider a player who plays zero minutes a DNP)

    7. SJ - Locked as VC - DNP

Would then search the bench for another hlf

    17. Doui - Picks up half - DNP

Would then pick up 18th man
    i.e
    18. Lodge - 32

Why don't you do us a favour and chuck Doui in at 17 and see what happens Very Happy

If Doueihi gets on the field then absolutely his points count. But if Doueihi is supposed to be the "cover", he'd be treated like a starter non-player, rather than a bench non-player which would get you your 18th man.

    And this.

But as a previous poster said, their algorithm for working this shit could be fucked in which case I guess anything is possible.

    Fuck the fantasy gods.

Cronk has been scoring like a dog so I swap him out for JMK. JMK goes large, but so does Cronk. I'm not squabbling over the 1 point, but now Cronk's 59 is in my EMG with no way to loophole him into the 17. Now it's a dog act to wish an injury on a player, so I'm hoping someone in my 17 wife goes into labour just before kick off.

    MANLY EYE YOUNG KYLE FLANAGAN

There's yet another twist in the Jackson Hastings' saga at Manly.

Such is the concern from the Sea Eagles footy department over their quality in the halves, senior officials from the club have made a secret play for rookie Cronulla halfback Kyle Flanagan.

Kyle, the son of Sharks coach Shane Flanagan, was contacted last week by a member of the Manly recruitment staff, asking if he'd be interested in making an immediate switch to the Northern Beaches.
With his NRL debut at Cronulla imminent, it's believed Manly were told thanks, but no thanks.

It's not known whether Shane was aware of the phone call - however, it may provoke him into picking Kyle in first grade sooner rather than later - particularly if the Sharks are beaten on Sunday against Penrith.

Would be good for Fantasy, basement half coming in

Also we are not talking about poolhopping, we are discussing whether Fraser gets any emergency or not.

But even if this is right, you're only getting one score for 2 red dots. Lodge in for Doueihi. An EMG of any position (Lodge) can cover a non-playing Interchange player (Doueihi). But you still haven't replaced SJs score with a Half.

    TIM GLASBY A KNIGHT?

Newcastle are zeroing in on Melbourne Storm forward Tim Glasby with a monster deal worth closer to $600,000 a season.

The no-nonsense QLD Origin forward is just days away from making a decision on whether to leave Melbourne or switch to Newcastle.

Knights hooker Slade Griffin, who moved from the Storm last year, has spoken to Glasby about the benefit of joining Newcastle.

    Source: Sporting News

Easy E and Glasby as 8 and 10. Would be a great pack, especially if Napa rumours are still true.
