Relieving news on Jai Arrow, has been cleared of internal organ injury & diagnosed with a rib contusion (front on collision caused rib cage to shift, causing distress to organs) from yesterday’s game. Possible he plays next week, need to see how it settles. Most return in 1-3 wks

604 here.

Still to play:

(c) Cam
Matterson
Mitchell
Tedesco

Should see 850ish.

Picked the right week to bring in Fifita. Hopefully the same is true of Mitchell.

Lolohea needs to slot back into that backline (rumoured to be back next week). Hard to see Founa staying in the squad over Thompson or MWZ or Nofoaluma.

Hopefully TLT helps us figure that out

Fonua is already in the team ahead of MWZ. And Nofo deserves to be dropped ahead of him (whether that happens or not is another question, but Nofo has already been dropped before this season)

If I can make 900 with Arrow, Rein, Mbye and Ponga all underperforming (and Isaako making par but still average as fuck) then I will be the happiest fantasy player in all the lands. Fifita has deadset saved me this week. All hail King Fifi!

600/11 with Thompson Ponga and arrows shit hole scores!
Jurbo, Jacks, DCE, Mitchell, Turbo and CS9 still to come.
890-910 would be a good score from the weekend.

Lawton was on the radio earlier, said his preferred position his hooker, but if a CTR goes donw, he is happy to play there.

Pookus McFly wrote:I think he is. Before that game he had a 5 game average of 68.2. It's not like we are talking about an easily replaceable position. Like Brown is injured and you can just put in a JTrbo or Matterson and fill the gap. The reality is that when Arrow is fit, nobody can produce the scores he has been in the FRF. Fifita comes close, but then absolute daylight. I think he is a special case where he is just that valuable he is worth the risk of holding. Imagine how you will feel if you sell and he starts busting out consistent 70s. Everybody was on his dick when he scored 99 not that long ago- surely that kind of scoring earns him even a weeks reprieve, even if he just sits in emergencies or loopdyloop.

It's a hard one for sure, and I'm pretty timid about this sort of nonsense after I joined the ranks of those making the clowny trade out of Smith earlier in the year. My major thoughts are that the injury sounds scary as fuck and (admittedly with zero medical knowledge or expertise) I am sceptical of a 1 week turnaround. If he does have 3 weeks off then it ends up being 4 since he doesn't play 13. A bunch of articles are talking up about how tough he is and he plays hard but N Brown gets exactly the same praise and holding him this year has been a mess.

At worst it seems pretty sideways as Fifi seems to be must-have this year anyway, and plays 13. I boarded the Smith tradeout train though as well as grabbing Sorenson and I am well aware that death comes in threes.

Concern for Scott Sorensen is a hand injury, likely fracture, on this play right before half time. If confirmed most require 3-6 weeks on the sidelines

I got stung by putting the C on Arrow this week, I should have stuck with Cook. It was a risky move.
The titans should rest him next week, but if they don't I'll be popping him on my EMG bench. And maybe use the Gosie l**p

I wanted to hold off trading Gosie, just to see what happened with Sorensen, and its looking like Sorensen will be a trade next week ahead of Gosie, pretty weird they both picked up basically the same injury in consecutive weeks..

Ultimately I probably would have preferred to just get Fonua for Gosie this week, and Sorensen to Martin next week.

Luke + Blair "should" be fine to play next week, Johnson expected to miss some game time though.

All 3 having scans tomorrow.

Bit off topic but has anyone got any idea on who to tip between storm & dragons?? coin toss as far as i'm concerned.

I've gone storm but second guessing myself, thinking dragons should get up at home.

@Chewie His injury destroyed my H2H this week. Like DCE all over again lol I won't be trading him if it's 1-3 weeks as he's easily the best FRF option atm but he'll be in my emergencies for sure. I hope he takes the time out to sort himself out though so he's good to go and firing when he returns.

Very annoying week with all my players below par. Very humbling after my Rhyse Martin excitement. Murray, Cook, Kikau, RM, TPJ only players cracking 50

My gut says that the Storm will win...

Disclaimer: I also went with my gut picking Arrow as my Captain
