I would have thought he's ability to make 50s in the medium term is far better than the long term. With Austin out, they wont be full strength, bringing in Williams will mean they have less options to cover Havili in the way they did with Austin in the team.

But I guess that's more of a difference in opinion/view of the crystal ball.

Why would they have less options with Williams coming in? Hingano stays on the bench and covers Havilli like normal.

Normally (or at least for a few games ive seen) sezer goes into hooker for a bit, and does a pretty shit job of it. I cant see Ricky wanting to have an average half doing a shit job at hooker, whilst having two below average halves doing a below average job in the halves. Normally he would still have Austin about.

@Wolfking Yeah he's expensive af and he does carry an injury risk, plus Gallen back anytime soon, but he's got a place in my team this season and his price won't go backwards enough to warrant the wait. Only other option I have is to put Arrow back there and bring in a final 2RF keeper, which is sound.

Maloney and Isaako are place holding until I have my forwards set. I could trade them both out but risk having a forward pack that isn't full strength.

I think Smith fights it down to a grade 1 and cops a fine. It doesn't look as bad at normal speed so fingers crossed lol

Do you think I should bring Fifita in? Or should I grab a 3rd 2RF and hope once Gal is back Fifita becomes affordable

Change of plans on the trades front
Rein>Surgess gives another round 13 body and a genuine keeper before he has the huge score we know he is capable of.
Maloney>Reynolds. Reynolds looks like averaging around 53-55 as a starting half which is keeper level. By trading him in over McCullough it allows me to move Mbye to WFB and bench JMK for Su'a or Martin
    Round 13 players list below
    Ponga*(origin)
    Cogger*(dropped)
    DCE
    Fifita
    Murray
    Reynolds

Probably a little short on players so might grab Matterson over Cleary next week to boost squad for byes

Will the Storm bother challenging Smith's suspension? They were granted an extension til 3pm to decide so they must be considering it but surely it's not worth the risk of a 2 game suspension?

Edit: Just saw Rapture's comment above. Will be interesting to see what happens

Flanagan said he was sending messages down to Fifita to stop running the ball in the last 10 mins of the game (and just defend) but Fifi kept going hard.

Don't think you need to worry about this - Gene Miles basically said this won't be happening.

I think Smith fights it too and should get it downgraded.

I'm set on bringing Fifita in mate. Even with Gallen in I still think he is a must have. This is the only year I haven't started with him and he's showing me that that was a mistake. As you said his price I think will hover around that 850. Hes only 90K from his starting price so in reality it's not that much IMO.

EDIT: i will say I'm realliy interested in Crichton though.

So I need help.Rapture ruled out my trade in options I need help this week.

    D. Cook
    A. Kikau, J. Fisher-Harris
    R. Fatila-Mariner, C. Murray, R. Martin
    A. Reynolds, D. Cherry-Evans
    P. Hiku, L. Mitchell
    J. Tedesco, K. Ponga, M. Mbye

    C. Smith, S. Griffin, J. Su'a, J. Marshall-King

    J. Arrow, N. Brown, J. Dugan, Nuffie

Griffin and JMK on the block. Who are the best year long Nuffies? I don't have the cash flow for Fifita. So thinking of guys like J. Trbojevic, McCullough, Surgess. I wasn't too inspired by S. Burgess this week though. Ideally want to go lower cash so I can turn Su'a into Fifita. I want to hold Murray a week and then look at him to Surgess next week.

reports saying hodkinson (337k scores of 29,14,13,17) is moving to manly this week which is shit news for dce owners, but he could be an alternative to lamb - most likely a pass though

Hodkinson BE is mid 30's so think it's be safe to wait and see if he'll become a cow in the future.

My team for Rd 13 as it stands.

    Cook*
    Fifita
    Taumalolo, Fitzgibbon, Murray
    DCE, Matterson, Lamb
    Ponga, Tedesco*, Walker

Take out Teddy and Cook and things are looking slim.

Cook will 100% be in the team at either 9 or bench utility

I like Hodkinson as a player, but he hasn't been too strong fantasy wise. I know a few years back he went on a bit of a decent run at the Doggies but that was beside Reynolds. With DCE there I think he probably gets around 30-40 so no real cash to be made.
