If fanhub run this again surely we all move to sportsdeck next year as our main comp. Supercoach is popular but an absolute lottery and this is just getting beyond ridiculous with these kents.

The one thing I prefer is the new price change system but I'm likely to go back to sportsdeck next year anyway.Milchcow wrote:

The rebuild this year coincided with the NRL's brand refresh/site redesign/etc. The backend system itself would have needed a fair bit of re-development to go from 25 players to 21 with ranked subs.
I'm not sure why they did a full rebuild rather than just redevelop and refresh what was already in place, I guess that decision was made very early on in the piece. (maybe by the NRL?)
I recall seeing Fanhub say they had a hell of alot of trouble integrating with the NRL's new login system which took up alot of their time.
Not really defending Fanhub but I guess there was alot at play. A fair bit of the blame would seem to be on the NRL, not just Fanhub.
All this said, I would say the new site/system this year will at least stay in place for the next couple of years. It will probably get to the point where its finally perfect in a couple of years, only to be scrapped again.
