Should I just go ahead with my planned JFH to Harris trade this week seeing as neither of them play 13?

My bench looks a bit iffy this week. I need some scoots from Brimson, good (busy) minutes for Murray and Surgess to get his arse into gear. Smith will bang out a 70 to sure this up (hopefully)
Captain Cook locked in. No amount of beers will change it this week. Sorry Teddy (so tempting!)
I have done the same. Never wanted Taupau, but there's really no other decent round 13 players I don't already have. He's overpriced and never going to hold his value, but I could get him in a single trade so I did.
I have told myself I can always swap him to a round 17 player later if I get sick of looking at him.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 45
I think after seriously considering Terepo I might leave him, but in saying that, Brown was meant to be back THIS week and isn’t even named on the extended bench. Wtf? Makes you wonder.
Thinking of saving a trade for next week. If Guerra isn’t playing Origin he will come in. Also will bring in Teddy/TTurbo dependent on final NSW decisions.
Any super undervalued players scoring well and will play round 13 and expectsed to build hella cash?

In Parra's injury update last Tuesday they pushed his return back to round 13.
Other than that, there has been barely any info about him.
In other news, I am looking at these trades:
JFH -> Taupau.
JMK -> Brimson.
As others have mentioned, really hard to pay such a premium for Taupau, but he's also very hard to ignore for round 13, and given the fact he's averaging around 60 minutes of late.
Brimson is probably the best of a bad bunch.

I started with Brown and traded him straight out when he got injured. Gut feel for the win

Argh, so stumped. Anyone have any advice?
Planned trades to generate some cash ready for upgrades next week are lamb>Brimson and Thompson>Fonua.
Leaves me with 16 trades and 541k itb.
Cook
Fifita Aarow
RFM Murray Kikau
DCE Arey
Mitchell Isaako
Teddy Ponga Fonua
Smith JFH Martin Havili
Lane Brimson Cogger Koroisau
Would have me looking at taupau, tolo etc next week and harris after round 13.

Actually, tempted to have a go at Hipgrave instead of Brimson.. reasonable stats and has potentially locked down the 2rf spot, though Will Mathews is still out with concussion..

Are RTS owners aware of the fact that he is still awaiting the birth of his second child? Apparently he’s likely to play as it’s a home game, but if the kid is born on the Friday or Saturday it could be an issue for said owners.
With his scores so far this year and Hiku’s score last week filling in, it wouldn’t normally bother me. But I’m down to 4 red dots this week and the only way I can change that is to hold and play Rein, which I definitely shall not do. I really need RTS so I can play 17 chaps this week.
Please experience childbirth today, Mrs RTS.

Funny you say that, i originally had that, went havilli>harris.
Then saw that if fonua gets 40 he goes up 60k and took the punt on him, hoping he gets dpp.
You're probably right though safe bet is the havili>harris trade i think.

Harris will only play 3 out of the next 5 games, odd time to bring him in?

I think people are starting to lock down their 17 and hoping Harris scores 55-60 (165-180), compared to a 40-45 average over four games (160-180). Saves a trade and locks a seemingly Keeper. Same thing for Arrow but higher.

Yeah I’m not sold on Fonua. Had a great game but can’t see him doing that often + will be rotated no doubt.

I've had him in since lockout on Sunday night. I think that's why my score went up so much in all the chaos. Before last weekend it was going to be Surgess instead but I don't trust his butt.

I wonder if Manly will rest Taupau after the Denver test like the Warriors plan to do. He could go missing for rounds 16 and 17

Wrong country anyway mate, its the ATO I gotta worry about over here though they've waived some fines and interest on the returns I filed late so far. Hopefully that continues!

I considered that, but Barrett probably isnt looking to rest anyone, given his seemingly tenuous job security at the moment. Add to that, they get a week off to refresh in round 17 anyway, so why would you rest in 16?
