    Bump

Best trades that work for me for $$ potential and filling up the positions for R13 is Kikau+JFH to Terepo+Fonua.

These can easily be moved on later for R17 preferably keepers. Thoughts?

Kearney saying any Kiwis playing in Denver, wont be considered for the game vs Sharks.

80% of his squad will be picked for NZ in that test. Would love to see the team they string together if the Kiwi's side is removed from the Warriors Laugh 3

To get an extra 30-40 points, and cost yourself a bit of cash. If Murray plays off the bench, and Tohu doesn't get injured, the cash difference between them will grow in the next 2 weeks.
No I am saying I have Murray and I might just go Murray to Tohu after RD 13

He is about 100k more than a bottom priced cashout (but if you need him to fill in for 1 week it wouldn’t be end of the world).

If you are low on trades he may be a good option for some

Yeah you got it. No bottom-priced cashout will have DPP, and I am banking that none score as well as Fonua.
Matterson + 3 high class escorts hookers on the bench, Fonua and an 18th forward gun (lets just say Kikau for now) in emergencies, a red dot or two for looping
This to me is the 14-20/21 dreams are made of.

This is also my Murray plan. Be silly to pull that trigger this week IMO. Even if a straight-trade now, the price won't change THAT much to negate the benefit of having a R13 player turn into a R17 gun.

Yeah its gonna be really interesting to see what kinda corners we are backed into later in the season when it comes to the make up of squads.
Injuries, suspensions, high-scoring cashouts will all have a hand in it.

I've had Terepo in and out of my team so many times this week. I've landed on not going for him and stretching for Taupau. I'm short on trades though so that is in the back of my mind - I couldn't quite see Terepo in my final team.

Everyone is keen on Terepo, but he really needs Brown to stay away.
I don't see him as any better than Kikau or JFH except he plays the upcoming bye.
Why trade sideways just to trade again 4 games later? Unless you are stacked with trades.

My bench looks a bit iffy this week. I need some scoots from Brimson, good (busy) minutes for Murray and Surgess to get his arse into gear. Smith will bang out a 70 to sure this up (hopefully)

Captain Cook locked in. No amount of beers will change it this week. Sorry Teddy (so tempting!)

I have 19 trades and I don't see Brown affecting him as will go back to prop rotation and even when Mannah was playing he was getting decent minutes. Priced at 38 be 15 and could get nice score at lock to generate some cash

So the bloke who can't count TB's is now taking a punt on where the coach will play a guy in the future based on the other 20 odd rostered players and their position, taking into account the possibility of them also being DPP despite never being named in the position and also injuries to players in that roster. Not to mention whether players have signed for another club the following year and how that may impact how the coach uses them.

That's easier that changing it after a player has actually been named and played a position. Totally get it.

I'm sure there are many mitigating circumstances that they use to determine whether someone gets DPP but the "named in position X for Y rounds" is not the only one anymore. Every system has its flaws I guess and one problem with this one is that only updating 3 times a season means people who play in new positions close to the update rounds could get DPP as a leap of faith more than anything.

I think Brown has to come into the equation, because he plays big minutes at lock. Having a lock who plays 60 rather than 70 leaves more time for the bench. Doesn't really matter so much whether you are 8, 10 or 13 in the middle third of the field these days. Terepo will probably average mid to high 40s at prop, and he is therefore undervalued. Alvaro's minutes were also down the last two weeks after his headknock, which could eat into Terepo's. I'm just an advocate of getting in final team members by this point rather than still looking for bye-friendly stepping stones, but I am also not the guy with 19 trades up his sleeve.
