I've just listened to the fantasy podcast and the chat between Bailey, Chammas and Zap regarding the Bennett Bellamy issue... Anyone else think Steve Turner is and absolute 'tard or just me?

Pretty set on my trades but I might throw my team up once more.

Trades this week are Kikau to Fonua and Havilli to Fifi.  Gives me this team with 17 trades.

Don't think there is anything else I'm missing unless one of you legends see something I haven't.  Obviously have to keep Griffin now for next week but don't even know if I will do any trades next week.  Might try and get Matterson or even Taupau but there is no one I really want to trade out that aren't playing next week, so next week will be a tough one.  Want numbers but don't see anyone worthwhile that needs to go.

Round 14 Griffin will be downgraded and then probably upgrade Thompson to Cleary maybe.

i stopped listening to the fantasy podcast and started with the supercoach one instead. turner just repeats what the other two say and passes it off as his own thoughts. dont think he does much research or takes it too seriously. 

the supercoach guys have a bit more personality, and you can hear their pain when they make the wrong call. but overall, this forum is better than both

Still torn on selling kikau.. Might try turn havili and soro/lamb into arrow this week. TMM could probably help with that extra cash over fonua. Something to think over tonight

with the discussion on value in regards to final team, figured this was a good time to post a updated version of the spreadsheet i posted some weeks ago:



this is assuming MCK is an 80 minute backrower now, if not, i can still bring in Aitken and be under-budget by about 50k at current prices... my pipe dream is to be able to cut costs (like Brown over Tolo, Cleary over DCE, Guth over Turbo etc.) enough to bring in a solid 18th man (maybe Gallen?) and sit my WFB/CTR cover at 19, it's a long shot though

Just heard about how trappy the NRL podcasters think connor Watson is. I think it’s ridiculous.

Since returning, he is a 4 game average of 56 with only 2 tries across those games.

Negative Be and plays 13. What’s not to like? That he doesn’t have big kick metres? Position aside, neither do the likes of Matterson

He will struggle maintaining a 45 average

Likely the case but guess I’m just a bit despearate as my backup half options are currently JMK Brimson or Lamb and he’s a country mile better than all of them.
