Guth not relevant this year (3 scores in 30s all included a try) so Fonua or downgrade.

Guth at FB hasn't been relevant. At half could be a different story??
Thoughts?

No my point there was he has been relevant (for him, and Parra), just not fantasy.
Don’t really care what position if you’re bagging a try and it only translates into 31,32 and 39pts

Yeah I was talking in fantasy terms bud.
Cool no worries, was thinking more touches of the ball and more tackles would somehow translate into more points.

We’ve seen before there’s definitely upside to him. I think you’re in the position and with the strength of squad though to not need that gamble.
We’ve seen with halves at fullback who can kick. Not that much changes and in fact in the case of Mbye and probably even Morgan, some do better there. Decent chance Norman is the one with upside or their roles don’t change THAT much

Averaged 41.5 over 8 games at half last year.
That average is without his goal kicking added in.

Yeah that's true, definitely need to have a look first at how things pan out. Might be a good grab next round perhaps who knows.
I'm probably leaning towards no trades this week. Just don't see anyone I want to move Lamb/Soro too. Fonua only slightly interests me.
Would definitely prefer a base price cashie who will make 200k+

You will look back at this week of 2 saved trades as the best thing you did all season imo. It’s abiut to get super tough, and again - you’re in a good position, with a strong squad

Yeah think things are gonna get messy over the next month. Some big outs will shake things up.

I am thinking of keeping Kikau this week and banking a trade, I know he will probably lose some coin but not much. So next week he will be my downgrade to a RD13 player to bank me some money to turn a few people (Murray, Thompson, Cogger) into RD 17 guns over the next few weeks.hopefully only one trade next week and I can bank the other 3 because we get 4 next week yeah?

4 yep. Any of the 4 saved will be a big long term advantage on the masses who will use all of them when they see just what a state their team is in!

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 45
My final team im looking at:
Cook
Fifita, Arrow
Taumalolo, Taupau, JTurbo
DCE, Cleary
Aitken, Dugan
Ponga, Teddy, TTurbo
Smith, Macca, Matterson, Harris
Problem will be no cover unless the base price players are decent. Will leave me with 7 trades for injuries.
May need to skimp somewhere to get a decent 18th man
As players are priced right now I can afford all these trades with 10k to spare.
So hoping things dont change too much. Will have to get Harris first in Rd14

@Pain yeah I'm interested in the guthbus but who do I bring him in for? Should I turn JFH into Guth instead and turn Murray into Harris after next week? Means I'm loaded with HLFs and WFBs then,Mbye would be on the bench then?
