@ wackos - C. Norman will play tonight but his ankle has been needled up to play the last couple of weeks & he could hardly walk on his ankle last weekend due to injury

So if you were thinking of buying Norman I wouldn't. Also if Norman gets to the stage where his ankle is too bad to play then Gutherson could go back to f/b I suppose.

Kikau or JFH out? who would everyone prefer?

I'm quite happy playing both Isaako & Thompson this week. Hopefully Isaako keeps the gk because I think he can easily score 30+ against the Eels at home. Thompson back on the wing at home against the Bulldogs is again a game where I think he can score 30+ including a try.

These guys have been analysed to death as many have been in the same situation. Both are really a "when" more than an "if"..

Personally I think both players amount to about the same average over the long term.

Kikau - scores will fluctuate from the bench from potentially 25 to 65.
JFH - looks like he is back to 60 mins per game and likely to hover around 40 week in week out. he'll probably find the try line sooner or later.

End of the day, it is a bit of a gut feel. I generally lean more towards known quantities, but that's probably why I do reasonably well every year, but never right up the top come end of season.

I traded Kikau out last week.. for Crichton. So pointswise, i gained nothing last week. Though I'm certainly more confident having Crichton in my team this week, instead of Kikau.

Hipgrave getting some late love. Lamb or Soro to him worth a crack?

The consensus is Kikau to sell due to his b/e of 50. He will lose cash. JFH can match his b/e of 40.

The only reason I'd keep Kikau over JFH is if I thought he'd get a starting spot back soon.

Otherwise its going to be a bit too much of a roller coaster.

JFH is consistent, and can happily sit there scoring mid 40s until I get the time and cash to upgrade.

a week or two ago I vented about people concerned with WFB and CTR cover. Even before trades this week, I have Hiku, Isaako, Fonua in my EMG. And Nichols.
