Somehow made it over 900 this week, even with Fifita and Matterson out. Extended my lead a little further. Many thanks to Crichton and Marsters
Made the right move to sell RFM this week it seems.
Next week will be the real definer. No idea what I'm doing yet. Only really have 2 players to trade out.

So, Cook reported to be NSW 9. Deserves it and can't grumble too much for Fantasy because everyone has him.

Fair play Freddie picking players in form Maloney/Cleary, RCG, Peachey, Roberts, Cotric, JAC. Ryan James a surprise but he's a good pick imo.

I think it might be best to go heavy on Rd13. No ones gonna have the trades left anyway to take Rd17 seriously and build a gun 17/18

Thing is mate, with the teams being directly opposite in the 2 bye rounds this year, any team light on in 13 will already field 17 in Round 17.

However, I completely agree with you as bye planning is pretty much non existent from most people this year. If you commit to bringing in as many bye players as possible for 13, then you also have to 100% commit to doing the same for 17 via maximum trading, otherwise you will lose any ground made.

You'll be trading all ya 13 guns to 17 middies just to get a score together and then your forced to run with them on the home stretch.

That is why most of us have decided to ignore 13.

TTurbo being trialled in wing and centre. I expect him as a centre. Also Keary still in with a real shot despite the Maloney/Cleary club pairing.

That means JDB in the prop rotation. I know there's not a great deal of difference nowadays, but he is used to being allowed to roam at Lock at club level for a few years now.

Wow terrible week for me. Have dropped about 500 ranks to about 1100. RFM, Ponga, Fifita captain!! JFH, Hiku, Cogger, Surgess etc.. What hurts most is I didn't play Holmes hahaha!! At least he's made me heaps of coin and primed for an upgrade to someone semi consistant (hard to find this season!).

Ah well. I have good bank, and guys in EMG who are almost ready to be cashed out and upgraded in the next 3 weeks, will need to nail my trades though. CS9 top of the list, then I'm not sure.. 2 backs and probably 1 other forward. Hopefully Holmes misses origin so I can get a bit more $$.

Not necessarily mate. If I had have planned a bit better I'd have made the decision to go hard from Round 11 and max trade through to Round 17 for max numbers in both rounds. That would see a massive jump in rank. However, as with previous years, you need luck in the run home after burning so many trades and not necessarily having your best 18 as early as others.


If I had around 10 players in Round 13 now (I have probably 6) I would max trade and give myself 14 for Round 13. Then max trade to give myself 17 in Round 17. That would give you a massive ranks boost.

As it stands, I reckon most will be lucky to have 10 in Round 13. So you either commit to the byes or completely ignore them I reckon.

I've just had a look at Rd17 guns that won't play Origin and only Harris is popping out.

Cleary, Macca, JDB, James, Arrow all play origin potentially so what's the point.
