Trade targets for round 17

Theres no point bringing in a player who isnt going to make a heap of cash or stay in your 17 long term just for 1 round. Remember thats all it is this year 1 bye round per team.

I'm confused. How can you have a strong 17 in round 17 when most of the players you want to keep in your 17 play next week? (eg. Fifi, Taupau, Crichton, Surgess, Tolo etc.) Or are you just saying in general have your final 17 set up by then and not worry about how many you have out that round?

Apologies LB and Wolfie-I think I got ahead of myself as to how many final 17 I would have in Round 17 . You are both right-there are 9 or 10 players at least that you want in your final 18 that won't play Round 17.


I guess the ultimate bye planning strategy is to max trade well into Round 20 to get the numbers in 13 and 17. By which stage you would be definitely be riding Lady Luck to the end with only a couple of trades left.

On the bright side of my trades this week, If Fonua can continue to score 35-40 he will be a great downgrade in RD17.

Looks like I should have 10 for next week before trades. Crichton and Latrell putting spanners in the numbers.

I still have no idea how I'll have decent numbers in RD17.

This week showed how having guys like RFM (unlucky scenario), JFH, Murray can hurt ya. Murray will be gone come 14. No one with less than 50 minutes is useful unfortunately
