Retardedness
Titans 48 hours after Origin has me thinking he could miss 3 of the next 5. Gives me DCE, and the extra cash I can do JFH to Taupau (6however, if I go a cheaper option like JFH to Alvaro it gives me some coin for the next few weeks).

I'd usually be all over someone like Friend/Gallen at current price points but I'm far more wary this year
Friend is missing what seems like a bucket load of tackles more than most seasons, haven't checked the stats to back it up mind, if he sticks playing 80 he is value, not sure he is the 55 point scorer anymore mind, but I'm willing to give him a proper look
Does this mean you've forgone your "once a gun, always a gun" theory?

Got me thinking about grabbing Taupau for him

Here he is......Mearcats wrote:

Not so much as let's be fair with regards to Friend it's Radley taking some of his minutes, his average this year 70+ minutes is 56 but he isn't getting the huge minutes he once was.
Gal is done by the looks as a fantasy prospect so I'll give you that mate
For my team Capewell - Friend for an $89,000 spend seems good

ugghhhh Trades don't seem to be working on the desktop site
says 4 remaining but only 2 lines worth of trades on the tab, then selecting a player to trade out....nothing and not allowing to trade in?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
Wow I am royally screwed this week.
Was just messing around without too much thought to see how many players I could get in....
JFH --> Taumalolo
Lamb --> TMM
Havili --> Ponga
Sorenson --> Radley
Still leaves me with only 10 playing, and I don't even like those trades.....

It's been the case for me since yesterday. If you lock in two trades from the team screen, you can then do your second two trades as normal from the trades page.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
Thinking i need a keeper half to bring in this week but not sure who. I know some are worried about DCE but the main thing to change with Hodgo there is goal kicking, KM are still similar, any other reason to avoid?. I looked at Matterson but take out the 4 games he has scored tries and his avg is 45, and thats boosted by the game he made 65 tackles which is almost double what he avgs outside that game. A Reynolds is an injury risk and has a low floor.
Think im sold on DCE

Think I'm going to captain Taumalolo, bouncing off Api and running over Hodgkinson.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
I'm going TLolo purely based on the fact he has been underwhelming twice in a row and I expect him to lift against a poor Manly pack now missing Turbo. Kapow and those 2 going head to head is a slight worry in the MT column howeverrhinoceroo wrote:Think I'm going to captain Taumalolo, bouncing off Api and running over Hodgkinson.

Cook/Maloney/RFM/Hiku out
DCE/Alvaro/Surgess/Fonua in
Gives me 12 this week and 350k in the bank. I like how my team looks with that many potential keepers coming in at the expense of one in Cook; and I very rarely actually like the look of my teams. Surgess may or not become a keeper and Fonua's spot is in his own hands.

100% agree on this fella. I am also working Friend into my team this week as we spake! Yes, that was intentional

Yep SJ will be my other half soon. Waiting one week on Cleary would mean if DCE scores 48 it will take 8 weeks of Cleary avg 5 more points then DCE to make that up.
Really i guess i want a keeper this week, i have 866k to spend

Is JFH a sell now you reckon? Keen on keeping Kikau.
