Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
I have 6 origin = Cook, Arrow, Jurbo, Crichton, Mitchell & Tedesco. I was going to offload 1 of Arrow, Turbo or Crichton but then I realised all 3 come off the bench in origin so they will be pretty fresh for the next round of the nrl.

This is the first year that bobblehead has muscled up in club footy the way he does in origin. If Freddy can get those guys to do the same we should win.Fortitude wrote:Looking at the NSW team as a supporter, im concerned
Back line full of attacking power and shit attitudes and void of work ethic and willingness to put body on line. Roberts, Ado Car, Latrell and TTUrbo turn up for every third game. Which will fuck us. Don't rate any of their abilities to do the hard work our of their own quarter. Specifically in this area, Cotric and Fergo would have been a solid pick.
Peachy, wins the award for most lateral metres made per game, extremely frustrating to watch. Understand why he gets picked, but if we are relying on him to play an important role, we are fucked.
Forwards. I would have liked to see Tariq in there. Cant help but feel that all the choices play the same style. Would have liked to see one more aggressive style player.
Halves are by far the best combo we had available.
Reckon we lose first the first game, get torn up in the backs.

I'm worried about Arrow backing up after being injured. If I'd thought he would play origin I would have traded him weeks ago.White Lightning wrote:I have 6 origin = Cook, Arrow, Jurbo, Crichton, Mitchell & Tedesco. I noticed two of his missed tackles in quick succession that were tired looking shirt grabs 2nd half. They were when two other guys were getting in on the tackle as well.
Ask @WL, he likes to put the boot into Gal... haha!
Sorry Rev, I think I downvoted you when i meant to upvote you. And somehow I may have done it twice- didn't even know that was possible.
(Just in case you were wondering if there were some really staunch Gal-fans on the forum. I assure you there is not. Not here, not anywhere.)

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
If Eloni Vunakece gets a start i'm all over him like Coconut on a Lamington.
I remember asking about three RLWC players on here pre-season:
Taane Milne
Rhyse Martin
Eloni Vunakece
so its only fair i back him at first opportunity. Would call Mark Nicholls into the office to make space...reckon he's about topped out, Vunakece should blast a 16 BE into outerspace against the Tigers.
Or nah?

Thinking Doueihi could be a solid cashout this week. Could even give me Reynolds insurance.

I've got Norman pencilled in to join my team, once he gets DPP he'll be joining Teddy & Ponga in the WFB for the rest of the season. He should get DPP once he gets named at FB this week

Yeah he is interesting.
I just wish I had another game or two to look at him, but if he's coming in it may as well be this week to make use of his byes.
bit of a leap of faith at the same price as Tommy Turbo (though plays one extra game)

I should have clarified... it's their line-up on the training paddock
