The only way I can get Kapow is if I go JFH>Fonua, Su'a>Kapow, Hipgrave>Tuala

I just brought in Hipgrave and think we will go okay, not keen on selling Harris or Hiku and selling Su'a seems too early.

But would get me up to 11 players, from 9. Feel like it is going to really hurt not having Kapow this week, but that price is terrible. Would leave me with 11 trades, tempted to just do JFH> Fonua and run with 9 spuds this week... At least 17 looks better

Hipgrave has the better job security you would think. Nothing worse then counting on a numpty for a bye score and then the khunt gets dropped even in a bye round.

I would pass on Taupau then because it's not worth ripping your team apart for 1 player for the reasons you mention.

If Fifita is limited to 40/50 minutes are we not anticipating scores in the 40's then ?

Still be expecting 50 but not a worthy captaincy choice or certainly not one worth taking a risk on

    Taumalolo for me

@Revraiser Yeah, Hiku and Mitchell. Bringing in Fonua this week too, so either him or Hiku will stick around as cover for the run home. The other probably goes to a keeper soon.

@WL You're probably right, just cant help feeling its going to be a rough fall this week without him haha.

Just looking at the last six hooker scores vs the Cowboys:

    Smith 97
    Cook 84
    Liddle 29 (47 mins}
    Wallace 46 (54 mins)
    Havili 72
    Rein 67

Four season highs there. Might join the big ball brigade and captain Koro. Would go Taupau if I had him but Tolo is the other option. Cowboys second string pack could mean he gets 200m and 40 tackles, or could mean the team gets absolutely smashed and he scores low.

Actually don't mind those trades honestly (Su'a may be early as you suspect). However I will personally be holding off on Big Marty for another 3 weeks maybe, cause I got bigger problems then Prop unfortunately. Definitely part of my final 17 but. JFH --> Fonua looks good as long as you got cover in SR long term@"Reklaw"

Lots of people talk about how many players they have over the bye rounds but like I say every year, it's total points scored for the year.

After this week I'm thinking of upgrading Reynolds and Murray to Cleary and McCullough, although both will play one less game than non origin players im hoping both can average 5 points higher than their current prices to offset the loss in points during round 17.

    Hopefully that makes sense

Still have Surgess, Harris, Lolo, Murray (to be upgraded next week), and Martin. Matterson will move back there too once Cleary comes in. The three trades destroy my bank though and my McInnes next week plan. Think ill just suck it up, take a big fall this round and aim for Round 17 with all my Titans players Coffee

True but getting keepers in who play a bye rounds is always a good strategy or waiting til their bye plays out and then grabbing them ie Harris, McInnes, SJ, Aitken etc after R13

cash outs to guys playing byes is also usually helpful
