If he was sub $550k, I'd be getting him in instead of RTS however.

Hmm at his price I'm not sold. Wighton will probably still play until the NRL say he can't, or until he's behind bars knowing Sticky.

I really don't get the sudden enthusiasm for booting DCE. Yeah, he's a bit of a dick, but even playing for a struggling team he's the third-highest averaging half - and the two higher than him are either injured or walking about with a glass groin.
DCE should be getting GK points back, and has absolutely no Origin threat looming.
Surely there are better areas to waste your trades on? Like centers! We all need to waste some more trades on our goddamn bloody injured low-scoring expensive bulls1t centers.
Looking over my trades in the ctrs FB. Here is a summary.
Started with
Croker, Isaako
Teddy, Ponga, Katoa
No cover.
Rd 2
Katoa to Hiku
Rd 8
Isaako to Aitken
Rd 10
EMg to RTS
rd 13
RTS to Fonua
rd 16
Fonua to Cotric.
God F'n Dammit.

Nah, hodkinson has been benched with dwalker starting at 6. I think this is a good move. Hodginskon has been poor and slow defending in the line, and I'm not sure whats doing with the kicks for touch when your team is down almost every set...lukeaye wrote:
Oh what, is hodko gone?
That changes things.

Trading out Fifita is pretty tempting.

Yeah Fifi looked broken on the weekend, and lost $50k last week.. Would be only worth it if you got Arrow, Taupau or maybe James though.
Would be a brave move but could pay off I guess..

Pick one to leave out:
Taupau, Martin, Burgess, TPJ..
Obviously if Taupau is ruled out it makes my decision easier.
Martin is a lock if playing 80.
Burgess a bit travel weary? TPJ rib injury lingering?

Fifita is the last of my worries. Such a luxury to have this as an option
I have a bruise on my leg from kicking myself after some really stupid round 13 trades. I wish I had a time machine.
Edit, post number 999. I think I'll use number 1,000 in the party thread. NSFW obviously (within limits!)
Edit again, URGHH! I forgot 2 seconds later and wasted it. Bloody goldfish me

It would be for SJ. Would let me turn Fitz into Cotric
Probably not worth it though.

Taupau is playing. Nrl.com has him playing and there is a tweet of him saying he is playing.

Firstly I am impressed you took a screenshot, and I will have you know. I come to terms with how shit my team is about 10 minutes into the first game of Round 1 and regret everything from the start of the season.

I'd leave out Martin because the other 3 have a much higher ceiling.

Actually DCE scored over 50 3 games with Walker in halves but they lost by 2 to Roosters then beat Broncos and Storm. Now they look trash. Look at that ridiculous bench Hodko and Wright. That's what worries me

Yeah I should of said Martin is the safe pick if you want 40-50 points but on their day the other 3 can go 60+.

@ wackos - B. Cartwright has broken his hand in a contact session at training today.
I realise this is totally irrelevant. I bet he was hand grabbing when he tried to tackle someone.

Sounds like there's some useful tips on there. I'm going to have another look at it.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 56
As a Cotric owner I'm worried about the possible move to fullback. So many of his points are a result of the hard tackle breaking runs out of his own half which I'm guessing he would lose the bulk of. The raiders have also been favouring their left side attack and he would no longer be on the end of those plays. Sure he will pick up some extra stats elsewhere but I can actually see him averaging less at fullback then on the wing. Hopefully I'm wrong.
