Bye players lock out at the start of the last game, so if that's the case and you traded James from a player on a bye, you can reverse.

Just keep in mind if it's a player from a different position, trade from the bench and keep James on the bench or else it won't reverse.

    Cool cheers

with minimal trades I'm keeping Ponga so I need to cover him (don't fancy running Mann) although I can be swayed on that stance

    Thoughts are

Harris - RTS for R17 points or TTurbo?

I have cover for Tohu in the form of WGraham when he returns, just means I will likely be running a reserve bench of 3 guns and a WFB punt or Graham when Ponga returns

    ie

    Smith
    McInnes
    Martin
    Mbye/Graham/Stimson

or would it be better to run Mann until Ponga returns and replace Harris with a gun ala JTurbo?

I don't see any use holding Harris mate. I may be forced into the position of running Mann also which I'm not fond of. Hoping last week was just a hiccup, although can't see much improvement on last week versing the Storm.

I'd probably look at going Harris to Cotric or RTS, for the cover, although Mann and a gun forward could easily score the same or more. I think watch Mann tomorrow night and that might give you a clearer picture if he can be a stopgap option for the time being. I'm hoping to fuck they are working on Ponga's hamstring round the clock and he surprisingly comes back next week.

I don't think I have the balls, even though I have the trades, I think LAM is going to have a massive couple of weeks. I can see Mary resting the likes of JDB even Vaughn next week so he will have a big role for the next fortnight.

For me i dont have the luxury of depth, to put him aside. But am somehow ok to burn 1 of 5 remaining trades to Milf. May miss an additional week, and looks like a sub 40 guy suddenly. I think im trading him out.

I won't be holding Harris mate its either

Harris - JTurbo and run Mann until Ponga returns

    or

Harris - RTS/TTurbo and run Graham/Stimson on bench until Ponga returns

I would look at the second option if Graham is back next week. See how Mann goes tomorrow first mate, he's getting a hatty.............. bounce

Just ran the numbers I get more overall points going

Harris - JTurbo and running Mann until Ponga returns

    over

Harris - RTS and running Stimson/WGraham until Ponga returns

That is based on RTS averaging 45 until end of season and Mann 30 with Graham/Stimson averaging 40

After this week team will be

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    JTurbo, TLolo, Brown
    ARey, SJ
    Aitken, Isaako
    Tedesco, Mbye, Mann*  Very Happy

    Smith
    McInnes
    Surgess
    Martin

    Ponga*, Douiehi, WGraham, Stimson

At current averages I'm looking at JTurbo 55 avg * 8 games = 440 points

A player coming in playing R17 would need to score on average 49 points to outpoint him, players I have considered who could go above and beyond that with a good run....

    James
    Tapine
    Milford
    Yeo
    Hodgson

Farah the other option would need to better JTurbo from R18 onwards

If you don't yet have JTurbo waiting until after origin would be prudent as no guarantee he backs up.

Farah is $128k cheaper which may be a factor

Sure Barrett has said he needs every game out of the Turbos, My gut is telling me to take a punt on Yeo but he NEEDS 80 every week to make the most out of his scores!

Farah would give me 4 hookers and less injury cover but he is tempting

Isn't this about the time of year when we have a look at who still remains from your round 1 team.

With the demise of Ponga and Harris this week, all I have left from Rd1 is:
Isaako and Tedesco (with Cam and Arrow recalled after being dropped).

Cook, Arrow, Mitchell, Jurbo and Ponga for me.

What are peoples thoughts on an 19th man, out of TPJ, or Friend? I have both, just working out who becomes Farah really. Can trade next week. I'm leaning TPJ - He will lose $$ but planning to keep him till the end. IF he can win back the starting spot, he is explosive enough to put some scores on.

And does anyone have any info around Dugan/Holmes? Is Dugan going to be fit next week, and will he move to centre, keeping Holmes @ 1?

Not too keen on this week of footy. Only made one trade, so I’m looking forward to next week when I can start cashing out some players and get to that final squad! I am so close! I have a hunch that being a young player Ponga will bounce back with the rest; however, the fact they play eels next Friday night doesn’t help. Hoping to have my final team by RD19 which will be
    Cook
    Arrow Fifita(could turn into Taupau)
    Jurbo Tolo Chrichton
    SJ DCE
    Ramien Mitchell
Turbo Ponga Tedesco(might have to settle for Cotric, etc)

    Smith McInnes Martin 17th man
    TPJ/S’ua 19th man(WFB or Half) Fainu Holland

Looking good mate, no holes in that side. How much $$ do you have for your 17th and 19th men? Trades remaining? I have a bit of jealousy with your WFB's, I'll be missing out on Teddy at this stage.
