    Can anyone offer any suggestions for my team;

    Smith
    Taupau Fifita
    Arrow Tolo Crichton
    SJ ARey
    Mitchell Marsters
    Teddy MBye Ponga*

    Cook James Martin JFH

    Lewis Mann Doueihi Holland*

8 trades and 123K. If by some miracle everyone backs up for origin I'm thinking JFH to Farah and I'd be happy with my 17 playing Holland or even Mann til Ponga returns. Other thing I'm thinking, is I regret my James trade last week a bit, switching him to Farah and then I should have enough to turn Mann into Aitken to cover until Ponga returns, if not perhaps Surgess?

    Cheers lads.

    @White Lightning @hymenbustas what @Fortitude said.

Worst kept secret in league. Raised it's head about this time last year. Watch Raiders games towards the end of last season and it's schoolboy stuff with blokes refusing to pass to him when he's in the clear. Whetherit's still the case, don't know.

I traded Cook out pre-byes with a view to getting him back but am 6k short of going one trade Brimson to Cook. Brimson BE 16 from mtvb site so hopefully he makes that and Cook plays limited minutes or not at all. If Cook smashes it this week I'm fucked and will have to use an extra trade or get Brown/Crichton instead.

Not sure those BE's have been updated yet? Still showing round 17.

3k short of the same trade, of which would leave me with no half cover and no trades !

I've gone Harris - Cook, as long as I don't see McIllwrick on the Rabs bench I'll do the trade this week

I don't usually do this but since it's the last throw of the dice I'm wondering if there's any better options??

I have 3 trades left and will use 2 this week
Start with $835K ITB. Trade Brimson to Cook and B.Lawrie to Aitkin with $11K left ITB.

So this is the team for the rest of the season,

    CS9 (c)
    Fifi, Surgess
    Tolo, Nate Brown, Crichton
    SJ, Munster
    Aitkin, Croker
    RTS, Teddy, Mann

    Cook, McInnes, Arrow, Isaako
    L. Lewis, Fainu, Ponga, Mahoney.

Mann, Isaako and Lewis can be inter-changeable until Ponga gets back.

Trades are scarce enough as it is to even think about it.

The irony is that WL is sitting in the top 30, despite trading guys in and out 3? times.

To me this is a (three) classic cases of make the correct trade regardless of your previous trades. I.e it was a mistake to trade Cam out but the mistake would have been 100x greater not to trade him back in.

    Important lesson IMO.

I'm in a very small fantasy facebook group with the guy in 4th. His brother is in 3rd. If anything comes to light regarding trades or strategy I'm sure it will find it's way here Wink

Is it worth saving money and getting someone like cotric or RTS in over Tedesco? Means I either have 196K remaining or 96K.

Compared the Fanatics League Rankings after the last bye round 2017 to 2018

2017 after last Bye Round ( Round 19 - mini bye round- 4 teams)
    Top 100 - 14
    Top 200 - 25
    Top 500 - 47
    Top 1000 - 65
    (128 Members)

2018 after last Bye Round (Round 17 - 1 of 2 major bye rounds)
    Top 100 - 16
    Top 200 - 26
    Top 500 - 49
    Top 1000 - 74
    (145 Members)

Even with a new Team Format / Bye Structure the numbers in the Top 500 is remarkably consistent.
The big difference is 9 extra in the Top 1000 and of course 2 members in the Top 2.
We did have a couple of members in the top 10 for a fair while last year from memory
and finished with  Orse (Squadra del Orso) 8th and Honey Badger (Zazu Knights) 13th overall.
With a healthy points lead, fingers crossed the Fanatics can quinella this years comp.
    Good luck Zora and Verbal.

Curious to see how the last Bye Round shook out for Rankings gains
in the new Format / Bye Structure this year for the Fanatics Overall League.

    After Round 15 2018 ( didn’t get Round 16 figures)
    Top 100 - 11
    Top 200 - 25
    Top 500 -40
    Top 1000 - 65
    Top 2000 - 90
    Top 3000 - 101

    After Round 17 2018
    Top 100 - 16
    Top 200 - 26
    Top 500 -49
    Top 1000 - 74
    Top 2000 - 96
    Top 3000 - 106

Definitely some movement, 9 into the top 1000, 9 into the top 500,
5 into the top 100. Not sure how that stacks up with previous years
( no data ) but anecdotally seems less movement than other years?

Also had a look at how last years rankings panned out after the last bye round to the end
of the season and was surprised to see the rankings fall away slightly especially the Top 500

    2017 after last Bye Round
    Top 100 - 14
    Top 200 - 25
    Top 500 - 47
    Top 1000 - 65

    2017 End of Year
    Top 100 - 12
    Top 200 - 22
    Top 500 - 32
    Top 1000 - 56
