Agreed, they need to be given the tools to better themselves; the monotony of killing Rebel scum 9 to 5 week in week out could see you in a comfort zone.Chewie wrote:StormTrooper96 wrote:I apologise for speaking about that that shall not be named in here. I like the ambition in your statement... there are not many stormtroopers that look for promotion!
Clearer pathways would help I reckon.

Sometimes we get sick of doing the same thing day in day out, and I am done! This is a time to better myself, better the life that I live and provide for my Trooper wife and Trooper kids. The life of a Stormtrooper will no longer be the same. I will rise up and moderate those other fanatics around me. If you believe you can achieve.

Really liked Winterstein was a part of the baby broncos, would have loved to see him in the CTRs more during that time and was complete class. Has had a horrid run with injuries the last few years, and has felt like he has more taken up a spot at the Cowboys with guys like Mosby around. Hope to see him get involved with other aspects of the team or community up here.

As a non arrow owner, im loving the uncertainty around him.
I assume most peoples teams are now mostly set and trades are reserved for injuries. Anyone looking at Harris?

You can't possibly be that shit a shot. You're a weak minded fool being controlled by any and every jedi you come across. It was obviously Vader's master plan to have you miss ever rebel scum for all those years so he could play out the end game above Endor and finally defeat the Emperorer and bring balance to the force as his destiny was written.
Just saying.

You have kids? Good to know you've got something you can aim properly.

Playing el bato in the eliminator this week, currently ranked 8th in the NFF overall, im 6th.
Crazy that two teams so close together at this stage of the game can have 9 different players in the 1-17.
Should make it interesting!

I would just hold Fainu with limited trades left, Just bring in Taupau when you get a FR/SR injury.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 62
Man this time of season gets a little depressing. Things slow down in here as teams are set and trades run dry. Might post mine to see if anyone thinks it's worth me doing something. 4 trades 8K;
Smith
Fifita Taupau
JTurbo Tolo Crichton
SJ ARey
Aitken Marsters
Teddy Mitchell Ponga
Cook Farah Arrow Martin
MBye Holland Clifford Mann
Don't need to trade if Arrow and Ponga are good to go. But MBye to Kikau or even Turbo is tempting. Kikau could be a good fill in for Arrow for the week, but I know what Arrow can do. Spewing I missed Fainu but I don't think it's worth it now even with 4 trades. Mann to a red dot or Garner an option also. MBye is an adequate 18th man, but Kikau would be better. Worth it? Or just hold?

I think it is worth it. Kikau is now playing an 80 minute edge roll and we all know what he can do. I know its not ideal but you have Holland to cover WFB/CTR and Clifford for Hlf cover. I mean grabbing kikau means you have to make a choice between arrow, martin, Kikau every week whereas without him you dont really have to worry, but it is good to have the luxury.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 62
Going along with Wolfy I'll see if anyone can see some glaring problem that I cant see in my squad.
Cook
Fifita Taupau
Tolo Jurbo Chrichton
DCE SJ
Ramien Mitchell
Turbo Ponga Cotric
Smith McInnis Kikau Lam(Red Dot)
Martin Arrow Fainu Clifford
It is super hard to choose between Kikau, Martin, Arrow and Fainu. Ideally i want all to score around 50-60 so i dont feel hard done by, but i guess i just have to pick the two i think will go bananas on the day. Unless i have a chance to do some illicit shit! Only thing i dont have is WFB Cover, I have enough CTR cover with Cotric's DPP but i have no WFB Cover. I am thinking with all of my FRF/2rf cover i can pick between Chrichton/Tolo to turn into Teddy and then have Cotric as my 19th/20th man for WFB/CTR Cover and promote Arrow back into the starting side.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 62
Now that his brother has " demoted " him to the Warriors v Titans match I expect Sutton to blow the pea out of the whistle. How this incompetent can be called the number one ref. is a complete farce.
Imagine being a Warriors or Titans fan this weekend? Thanks NRL for the spineless actions after the Raiders fiasco and the nepotism run riot by the Suttons. Lots of penalties this game to show that Sutton can control the fixture he has. You have been forewarned.
