I think it is worth it. Kikau is now playing an 80 minute edge roll and we all know what he can do. I know its not ideal but you have Holland to cover WFB/CTR and Clifford for Hlf cover. I mean grabbing kikau means you have to make a choice between arrow, martin, Kikau every week whereas without him you dont really have to worry, but it is good to have the luxury.

Exactly mate, MBye is probably good as extra cover in the backs but Kikau I think will be just too good for the run home. 18th better being a forward anyway perhaps. I just don't see MBye being really dominant or getting much opportunity for for fantasy points.

    Tolo Jurbo Chrichton
    DCE SJ
    Ramien Mitchell
    Turbo Ponga Cotric

    Smith McInnis Kikau Lam(Red Dot)

    Martin Arrow Fainu Clifford

It is super hard to choose between Kikau, Martin, Arrow and Fainu. Ideally i want all to score around 50-60 so i dont feel hard done by, but i guess i just have to pick the two i think will go bananas on the day. Unless i have a chance to do some illicit shit! Only thing i dont have is WFB Cover, I have enough CTR cover with Cotric's DPP but i have no WFB Cover. I am thinking with all of my FRF/2rf cover i can pick between Chrichton/Tolo to turn into Teddy and then have Cotric as my 19th/20th man for WFB/CTR Cover and promote Arrow back into the starting side.

That's tough, you actually don't really have any CTR cover either aswell as WFB cover because you don't have either in your EMG, Cotric can't be moved becuase you have no one on your bench to come in. That's probably the only concern you would have. Good team otherwise and definitely get looping too. You have trades don't you? I would see how your forwards go this week and maybe look at getting some back cover in next week, but unless Ponga doesn't play you should be fine to wait and see. Did you trade Ponga in this week? Who was replacing him last week if not?

Imagine being a Warriors or Titans fan this weekend? Thanks NRL for the spineless actions after the Raiders fiasco and the nepotism run riot by the Suttons. Lots of penalties this game to show that Sutton can control the fixture he has. You have been forewarned.

Warriors especially mate since the are teetering on the edge of top 8. Another fuck up call and the Warriors loose could be diabolical. I laugh at reffing these two teams is a 'demotion.' WTF?!

Yeah mate got 3 trades and 13K. Thats the plan, see how the forwards go and whoever is lacking behind could be turned into Tedesco and Cotric into EMG for cover with Arrow into the forwards. Nar have always had ponga. I had Mitchell replacing him last week and C.Scott in CTR. This weeks trades were Brimson > Lam and C.Scott > Kikau.

As a Warriors fan I agree, I know the Warriors will never be "allowed" to win a premiership, but this situation just confirms it.

What an absolute crock. The only thing stopping them winning a premiership is not being good enough.

Out of interest, i assume it was just Buzz Rothfield and his hack journalism that used the phrase 'demoted' regarding the Warriors/Titans game, and that the NRL didn't actually say anything like that.

Couldn't be stuffed looking it up, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah that makes sense then. Yeah, I think for the run home, cover I feel could be a little overrated. We would know in due time anyway if a player is in doubt so if you have the trade there, can use it beforehand without needing cover.

Might sleep on it, but might pull the trigger on MBye to Kikau, or else if I wait til next week, I'll need two trades.

Yeah - its kind of funny to take offense to it. It *IS* a lower profile match, that isn't really an insult, just a fact. Its 8th vs 13th (or whatever Titans are), at the Sunday 2pm timeslot (not FTA, and on average less viewers in this slot).

Its a better phrase than 'demoted' and technically correct, but its still not a good look.

If you were actually going to move them to a lower profile match, why not Knights vs Cowboys, rather than a game involving a team who still needs the win.

Assume the Friday/Saturday night games are considered higher profile while first game on Sunday and Thursday games considered lower profile.

Yet Knights vs Eels was primetime last Friday.  I get what you mean but the NRL should be trying to sell their brand, and this isn't doing it.

Yes, the Warriors have not been good enough to win, but the officiating lately has been woeful.

      Current date/time is Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:14 am
