The interesting thing with Cook (given everyone has him) is whether you shell out $1m+ equivalent on him to start next season.

No different to Ex captain Cam in previous years. If you don't you start behind everyone else

Bumped up to 1011. Feels good after narrowly missing out on the 1k last week due to captain choice.
Still not good enough to win the Eliminator though.
Tough crowd.

Friend of mine was looking at him 3 weeks ago with origin well and truly done, but he still only played the 58 odd minutes, so went with JDB instead.
Not happy now as Hess was back to 80 the last 2 weeks.
I'd say go for it.
987 for me in the end. Just needed Fifita to stay on or Kikau to not bleed off 24 points in negs, but whatever.
Perched around 1700th. Feels pretty good until people ranked inside the top 100 talk about how bad their luck is and how garbage their team is

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 65
Got 998 for the round Fifi or James could have made 1 more tackle each to get me to the grand in back to back weeks. Lost eliminator to Kali Kookaburra's (1042) - grats bro.
However, I'm into 35th overall, which is; 6th in Fanatics and 8th in Warriors Official - tough crowd.
1 trade left. If vCS9 plays, it looks like another week escaping injuries - may it continue.

Scored 1010 up to 7th with 2 trades left. Of course captain Cook really helped. Now that Doueihi is going to be a red dot I can join the poophole club.

I think you do - you effectively get double for your money. I presume this was the main reason people got (C)am year after year when he was easily the best fantasy player in the game. So as it stands you'd be paying for a 67 average player, but you'd be getting an extra 7 points per game better than any other captain option - assuming all else equal. So in effect you are getting 7 points value.

Well done mate, you've been flying up the rankings! You and I were about the same a few weeks ago - I'm now 41st. That being said I've managed to approximately hold my ranking for the last few weeks despite not captaining Cook. If I'd had the C on him this week and last I'd be ~20th.

The thing with Cook next year is tactically you have to start with him because he'll have very high ownership & if he scores big from the start then you will be off to a bad start.

The tactic of just captaining Cook every week has helped. Cook is the Salah of the nrl haha.

I have been consistently going backwards the last two weeks. Now back to 75th.
Don't expect to stay in top 100 unfortunately

@ nrl physio - Vaughan out for 4 weeks with ankle injury.
I was thinking about the Vaughan injury last night & that LAM could be a good pick as I assume he'll start & get increased minutes. At 554k & with ownership of 0.80% he could be a very good differential.

As above - concussed is taking on Shakes Crusaders.
Of interest shakes is currently ranked 4th overall in VSDT and is also ranked 4th overall in NRLF.
Good luck bro - I reckon you have him based on matchups.
My bad - wrong thread!
