Hey pal, I had the exact same setup this week and received Codys score.

Did you have any HLFs out this week? Or someone in your 14-17?

No, only Holland's... although I've just checked now and I've gone up 15 points so it's been fixed now, A+

Mate, 100 points is very doable.

You have a few things up your sleeve in this match-up too.

    1) he may not be able to field 17 - might be a stretch but Im half expecting both Martin and McInness to be out this week. If he doesn't have any trades left then at best he plays with 17. If someone else gets rested then he's down a man.

A lot of your strategy will then follow from team naming but other advantages you may have:

    2) Ability to loop - I'd tactically consider looping a common player and hope they have a shocker (arrow maybe). In that case you could loop in Lewis and maybe make up some of the gap if you are lucky.

    3) Captain choice - I think its likely he is gonna go Cook - I guess you are now forced into a different option. The obvious one for me is Tolo given he is a POD anyway. If Tolo goes huge you could pick up most of that 100 points in one player!

    4) You have a number of other PODs too. RTS v TTrbo could easily flip on its head this week and give you 50. I dont like you halves match-up but regardless in a one off game you might get lucky. Souths with a lot to play for and Wests nothing and Manly might get flogged in Brissy...

I think you have a decent shot mate. As you say, you just need a bit of luck.

Some teams will have completely come undone in the last couple weeks with all the big names going down.

    Are there updates on:

    Fitzgibbon, Martin, McInnes, or Aitken?

Also, is the general consensus that Ponga is on ice for the season now too?

I can only find that McInnes copped a head knock - I would assume he will be OK to go this week, unless there is some other news I haven't seen?

I read somewhere earlier that Ponga will be good to go this week.

Can't help you on the rest sorry.

McInnes will play next week.  Head knocked and he walked off.  My opponent has him so he will play.

Martin I think won't because even if he is okay they  will keep him on ice for reserve grade finals.

    Cheers mate.

Ponga back will help me otherwise I could be fielding both Hiku and Gutherson!

McInness didnt look to flash after the head knock but I just had it on in the background with no volume so I didnt hear what was happening. Looked like he got pretty smashed to the extent that I wondered if he'd got a facial injury too. Certainly a head knock at least and with the finals coming up wondered if they may take the cautious approach.

Brown said very doubtful Ponga plays this week.

Dunno if it means anything but he was standing with the team on the field after the game.  He seemed okay.  I would love him not to play but I doubt it.  Do Dragons even have a decent backup hooker?  If Widdop was fit could chuck Hunt there.

He was very groggy, would be wise to rest him though.  I can dream.

Ah fuck, he did too. I literally only looked at the knights headline which said "Ponga return" and assumed it was meant in a positive way.

With Martin and aitken likely to miss the final round, I’ll be fielding 16. And forced to play rapana. Who was pretty unlucky to get the score he did. Deserved about 30, but a couple of ‘errors’ coming from decent plays

I think there will be a number of teams with fewer than 17 this round and thats before TLT where Im sure at least another big name will become a red dot.

Im feeling pretty lucky, haven't had a trade since round 18 and even if Martin, McInnes, and Ponga are all out I've managed to avoid the other common injuries and should still be able to field 17. Would really benefit from McInnes being named to play though.

At this stage I'm looking reasonable with Surgess and Arrow battling for the last reserve.

With Ponga out I would play Holland again. Probably alot in the same situation there.

Lach Lewis almost worth a shot in the 17 the way he's going as well... might look into this "looping" thing with it all on the line this week.
