    Hi Ivan

I hope all is well. I'm 5th in NRL Fantasy - I'm going ok.

Jacob's birthday is coming up (October) and I've lost his address to send him a card. Please could you email me back with where he lives?

I would usually just text Jacob as we're top buds but this would ruin the surprise. Nothing sinister here at all.

    Nice one.

    Cheers

    Sorry Ivan

Unrelated but do you know where I could hire a black van? Also, is duct-tape cheaper at Bunnings or Mitre 10?

    Thanks again

On another note, I enjoyed watching Holland play yesterday, I don't know why he didn't have a starting position at the beginning of the season, but he's one of the better dogs atm

Agree, he's strutting around a bit at the moment. Got a bit of confidence and a buzz going on

Yeah, he was awesome yesterday. Spewing that try got disallowed, would have had a 75 point game.

Not sure if its been posted but there's an updated 'casualty ward' thing on NRL.com. Too early to say much on most people but for what its worth:

McInnes not mentioned (good news for him I guess)
    Martin: knee - TBC
    Ponga "unlikely"
    Aitken: hamstring - TBC
    Fitzgibbon: head knock - TBC
McCullough: sounds like he has been cleared of anything too major thankfully but officially concussion - TBC
For Mann owners Widdop "pushing to get back this week"

Think thats most of the fantasy relevant stuff

I recall him being pretty awesome when he came on to the scene, last year was it?certainly his fantasy output was pretty good and then he just dropped off the radar. The dogs were struggling at the time though and coach was making some odd calls. I always wondered though if it was an off filed/discipline/ or effort thing though. The kid looks the goods and is a pretty good goal kicked too it seems.

    Hi Verbal,

He's living out at St Mary's. Remember he moved out there when he hooked up with Bianca because she's from out that way. Mind you I'd move out to Shitsville too if I was bagging that (don't tell the missus). Or Jacob, that could make things weird. There's a Bunnings at Colyton on the highway not far from there where you get cheap duct tape. Hope that helps.

    Stay Classy
    Ivan

PS - Just quietly with Robbie still not signed next year, I'm starting Jacob. I'm naming Robbie but we're keeping it as a suprise for Jacob till just before kick off. So get down to ANZ Thursday, I'm sure he'd love to see you at the game. Oh and Good Luck with that fantasy thing.

Newcastle Herald from today is reporting that Fitzgibbon is unlikely to play this week, even if he passes his HIA protocol. Don't know where they're getting that from though.

nrl.com is now reporting Aitken's injury as a hamstring tear

So, I'll get to choose from either Tuala or Staggs in the centers this week. Which is lovely.

that was a bad call, they had already decided to play on, at least the decision didn't affect the outcome of the game (I'm sure it made the difference in some h2h fantasy games and some bets people placed, but I don't think the NRL are too concerned about those things No)

I thought the Latrell sin binning was rough since before the ball go thrown out wide the Broncos player ran a shepherd & it should of been a penalty to the Roosters.

Hey Lads, un-fantasy related - Heading to the Greek Islands on Thursday for two weeks. Going to Athens - Mykonos - Paros - Santorini - Ios. Any of you fine gentlemen been and if so any tips or recommendations Smile
Also in the League 8 H2H Grand Final this year, did not picture that after finishing 6th.

I loved the islands, Paros and Naxos were great, not as busy a lot more relaxed. Santorini is very touristy, nice still. Do the day cruise to the warm spring not much else to do there otherwise.
Mykonos is great we hired a couple of quads and went all over the island, got some good party beaches if you can put up with the crowds
