    I think Im being realistic. Having money left over from years gone players is obviously a piss take. The Broncos were in the hunt for Teo so surely there is a little cash to splash around.

    TBH with Hodges left overs after replacing him and Barba you should be able to get most of the way to a Roberts contract and with the Clydesdales or Andrew Gee chipping in the rest you should get it over the line.

    My main point was I'm surprised/doubt that the Broncos had much salary cap room, doesn't seem like the club that wouldn't use all their money.

    I understand the lure of a permanent first grade gig, as well as the theory of being a "growing up wanting to play for " and waiting your turn being a dead and buried concept, but.... if you can't throw some coin at Jnik, Parcell, or Ash Taylor, you can't have too much left in the coffers. If there better players running around last year in whatever grade, they were having good seasons!

    The other two may end up having higher ceilings, but Parcell is the one I reckon might bite  us in the keister. He looked ready to go last year. Had that DCE-for-QLD off the bench sort of feel about him. You lost nothing, added some fresh starch to the defensive line, and was always giving the opposition another target to concentrate on defensively.

    He's my "2016 Best Buy" pre-flop. Anyway - back to the online poker Smile

    Unnamed club offering Copley a 3 year deal worth $1million or something (assuming its the Titans). If we let him go we have the money for Roberts.
