I'm not fucking about with TE's. I've gone the 2 best in the league with Gronk and Kelce because the position is tough as fuck to predict behind that

Ertz is a good option if you want to save a few $ on the 2 above who are far and away above the rest in terms of points scoring per game potential and average.

The top 3 will give you a high floor and massive ceiling other TE's just don't get near

If Eifert CIN $4,230,000 and Reed $6,260,000 can remain injury free they are goldmines and can get to Ertzs level, but they won't so stay clear

Olsen for me is your ideal 2nd/3rd TE he will see plenty of targets and is in the tier below Ertz, he is dicounted because of missing the season to injury, he won't be the no.1 Newton target (McCaffrey) but he will get plenty of looks

Royce Freeman absolute must have.

Nice Welshy. I was going to start Graham at TE2 because I figured he'd link up well with Rodgers and be fairly safe. Now you've got me keen on Olsen.

Should I spend the spare $3mil on:

Carson>Cook/Howard/McCaffrey
Sanders>Green/Diggs/Evans
Mahomes>Luck

Bye Schedule

Like NRL there are bye weeks in the NFL but it is structured differently. IMO while it should be a consideration when choosing your initial team, the bye schedule mostly comes into play in terms of your trading strategy.

Id go Carson to McCaffrey everyday, his ceiling his huge and his floor is safe as fuck, love Howard but he will go around the same maybe a tab more, McCaffreys workload is going up so you are pretty much guaranteed a price rise for his current value

I like Evans to return to norm also but not with Fitz throwing the ball, wait until week 4 for Evans

I'm basically going to stick with

Rodgers, Luck, Darnold
Johnson, Barkley, Mixon, CMC, Kerryon, Royce Freeman
A Brown, OBJ, Adams, Julio, Mike Evans, TY, Robinson, Mike Williams
Gronk, Ertz, Olsen
Carlssen, Maher
Vikings, Texans

Seems pretty good based on the half-baked research I did for the draft league

With the advice about cheap WR's I think I'm going to cheap out of Gronk and Kelce and start Burton and Kittle. It's a risk but Gronk is a million years old and Burton and Kittle have huge upside this year.

What scources does everyone use to get all their NFL info. Is NFL.com enough?

I think I've read most NFL articles on the internet this week. Paper thin knowledge for the win!

So, a day and a half left until this starts then. Do we have any last stragglers to sign up? The non-cash private league only has 11 of 14 as well.

Hey mate, nah no more entries as it stands. There were 2 people that sounded pretty keen at one point and another that showed interest. I've messaged them all but no replies. In fact two of them haven't actually received the message yet so not holding my breath. I'd say we will be running with 14.

Im not in the league yet so will do that ASAP.

Considering starting with an extra rookie and ~5mil in the bank to help cash generation a little more and increase my chances of reaching guys like Gurley, Bell, Wilson, Gronk later in the season.

I've been messing around with my rookies too much. So many different rankings, lists, projections, articles etc. Fuuuuudge

We still need 3 people to jump in the H2H league and avoid randoms filling it (not that it would matter). Rev & Unusual Unicorns are the two who are in the group but not in the league, is there a 14th person as well?
