And the worst thing about the aftermath of the tennis is that it's taken the gloss of the fact that Osaka is the first Japanese woman to win a grand slam & it was her first grand slam win. This should be celebrated & lauded but what has happened is everyone is focusing on narcissistic Serena & trying to make excuses for her behaviour.

Ridiculous from her especially considering the coach admitted cheating.

Typical lefties I read this article this morning on Serena trying to excuse her behaviour because she suffered racism when she was 8 years old. For some reason being the subject of racism gives you an excuse to break the rules lol. And to my knowledge she still hasn't apologized to the umpire. I suppose this is ok as well because she is black.

This is an example of how phucked up this world is with all this pc crap. A couple of years ago in England this Pakistani group were sex trafficking girls as young 9 & 10, were engaged in paedophilia & prostitution. The police & local authorities knew it was happening but didn't do anything about it for fear of being called racists.

Since fantasy is over I'll bite. That sounds like some infowars BS and I bet there isn't a shred of evidence to support it.

Former nrl star Luke O'Donnell arrested for drug supply. He was pulled over by police & they found 5 grams of cocaine in 7 re-sealable bags, along with 9 valium tablets & $800 cash which police allege is the proceeds of crime. O'Donnell is also facing charges of domestic violence in a separate incident. Police allege when they arrived at his Clovelly unit on June 3 they were met by an aggressive O'Donnell. A struggle ensued before the police tasered him. O'Donnell received an apprehended violence order stopping him from approaching his father, Ross O'Donnell.

White Lightning wrote:This is how the Serena meltdown started. During the first set when Osaka was on top Serena's coach was clearly motioning her to push forward (coaching is not allowed). So the umpire gave her a violation. Since then in every changeover Serena has accused the umpire of questioning her integrity, etc. Then on the last one she smashed her racquet (another violation) so that was a loss of a point. Then in the next changeover she continued to ask for an apology & then said "you will never ever umpire on my court again, you have stolen a point from me , you are a thief (so she basically calls the umpire a cheat). Then the tears come & the umpire gives Osaka a game.

I’m only just starting to get into tennis so excuse this probably dumb question but why isn’t coaching allowed?

I'm not really into tennis but apparently it one of the rules but I don't know the reasoning behind it.

There is a mini-Series based on Rochdale that came out recently. Great piece of television.

Anyone brave enough to consider Elgey for next year. We all know he likes missing tackles but he's playing for Manly in 2019 who are a much better attacking outfit than the Titans & Elgey's attacking game is quite good & he likes scoring tries. If the salary cap is the same as this year there's cheap players like Elgey @ 317k that will need to be in your team.

I wouldn't expect massive things. He'll clearly be second fiddle to DCE. He's cheap enough that he'll definitely be on the radar, but hopefully a better option turns up.
