Let's hope that some sort of FF finals footy happens in 2019. (are you looking here Fiona? I would have captained Tedesco this week for fun.)

When I first started playing fantasy the format for the finals fantasy was the same as the regular fantasy i.e. pick a squad & play 17 players. This was really enjoyable because there was the skill factor. Then they changed the format to picking 1 player in each position with triple (c) & double (vc). I found this format really uninteresting because it was pure luck based.

Another player signing for another club after not getting enough opportunities at their current club only to realize the club they're going to has better players ahead of him and he'll be in the same situation he's found himself in the past few years and being a backup half............................

Definitely, he's the Queensland FB next year. Watson and Pearce in the halves will be the combo next year.

Signing reminds me of a lot of Tigers signings coming into this year. Sign four blokes in 1 position and if someone stands up good on them, if not you have depth

It's good for the game that Slater plays the final but if it had of been anyone other than Slater they would not have played. I think everyone other than the Roosters would be happy.

The NRL has imposed a fine of $750,000 on the Sea Eagles for salary cap breaches between 2013-17, suspended two officials and applied a $660,000 penalty to its salary cap.

I've still not heard from the roosters about my prize. Surely they should prioritise this over grand final planning
I might have to send an email to Greenberg

Lino could challenge Watson for the second half spot. Watson or Lino could play off the bench.
He will not challenge Johnson or Green at the Warriors and he won't get a bench spot ahead of Tevaga/Roache.
Definitely better opportunities for him at the Knights in the next 2 years and they're probably paying him more too.

They've got Ramien coming next year don't they, and Tautau Moga back from injury. Don't think they need to move Watson there

Re: 2019 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
I was thinking about the Lino move the other night. I think he would of got more game if he had of stayed at the Warriors because SJ & Green is so injury prone both are probably going to miss big chunks of the season.
I was also thinking Taumalolo is a no go next year as well. We all saw when McLean played that he was stealing hitups off Taumalolo resulting in lower involvement. It's similar to the Fifita/Gallen situation where Gallen hogs all the hitups.

Not sure how much truth there is to it but read on wt forum that knights are shopping Watson. I can't see him leaving but you never know what's going to happen in the NRL player movement.

Fifita and Taumalolo are still top players in their position. I don't think there is any rush to start with either of them, but you'll probably want them at some point for your final team.
