If not, presumably they did so because they do want feedback. Will be interesting therefore to see what they change

There was a survey about 2/3 of the way through the year. A lot of on this site filled it out.

Will be interesting results because I assume they'd get mixed results on stuff like free bench, squad size, and particularly loophole.
For stuff like missing site functionality I assume was universally panned, but they wouldn't need a survey to tell them that

Fanhub haven't even started rewriting the whole site from scratch yet, doubt they've considered salary cap.

I assume it will end up the same as the actual NRL cap though. Bigger question is whether they stick to the 21 man squads or bump it up again.

    The salary cap consists of:
    base figure = $9.1m - car allowance = $0.1m p.a. - veteran & development player allowance = $0.2m p.a.- total cap = $9.4m
The nrl fantasy cap is the same as the nrl salary cap i.e. $9.4m

I found this after a google re 2019 nrl salary cap:
the base figure will increase to $9.7m in 2022 while the car allowance & veteran/development player allowance will remain the same.
So it seems the salary cap will be $9.4m from 2018-2021 & increases to $10.0m in 2022.

I tried a team using the $9.4m salary cap & it is pretty hard so if indeed the cap remains at $9.4m in 2019 then there will be a lot of compromises to be made. For example it's pretty hard having 2 premium hookers such as Cook & Smith/McInnes so it will have to be Cook & a cheaper hooker. And the cheaper hooker is not the kind you find down some dark alley in the city.

With Hughes to play FB next year and Jacks moving on Crofty will have the half spot all to himself, he definitely started having the scores that I thought he would at the start of the year.

Morgan scored well without JT previous season (avg of 53), dropped a fair bit of cash this year. He'll definitely make it onto my shortlist

To be honest Verbal, that is by far the best 2019 starting team we've had posted here.

Don't know why you think its rubbish

a quick look during lunch and I came up with something like this:

    Cook (c)
    Mclean, nuff
    Jtrbo, TPJ, mid
    Morgan, Hughes
    Holland, Hayne
    Edwards, Turbo, nuff

    Bench: Macca and cashies

All underpriced except for Cook, Jtrbo, and Turbo

I'm quietly hopeful that there will be some very good bargain hookers next season.

With the new six man interchange in 2019, you would have to figure that a few more coaches will decide to go with 80 minute hookers so that they can just rotate their props and locks in a match. In that scenario the 4th interchange would probably get little to no game time and essentially just be there to cover an injury in the backline or at hooker.

Personally I'd love to see Brailey and Segeyaro (c'mon Dean Pay - dump Lichaa and play Segeyaro for the 80) as 80 minute players

Yup, my question (perhaps poorly worded) was, do they do that survey every year?

If so, then I would not expect anything to come of it as it is just a routine thing. If it was a one off, then perhaps they did realise they royally fucked things up this year and they are genuinely trying to gauge which stuff to prioritise sorting out for next season.

Was about to post this. I wouldn't be taking the risk. I hope he can get back to where he was, but players who have experienced similar neck injuries are rarely the same player (of late, McQueen, Turner come to mind).

If everyone is fit, there is alot of competition in our pack with Lodge/Mcguire/Ofa/Haas/Mago in the middle and Gillett/TPJ/Glenn/Sua/Fifita on edges. That assumes TPJ re-signs and Glenn stays in 2019.. TPJ may also move back to the middle of the field..

Looking back, its surprising how quickly both Haas and Fifita came on. Obviously Haas didn't get much chance due to injury, but at the start of the season, no one expected Fifita to be playing FG this year. Admittedly, he got his opportunity through injuries, but he's done exceptionally well with his chances.

We've also got Savelio (at this stage I dont really expect him to play first grade with us), and Patrick Carrigan (highly rated youngster).
