I do have a lot of time on my hands because 4 months ago I moved in to look after my dad who has alzheimer's as his full time carer. The poor fella just has no memory so he's a bit of a handful. So I literally troll the internet most of the day as dad sleeps a lot during the day because he's up half the night. Trying top get him to sleep is a mission because when he's in bed & the light is off he gets scared & doesn't know where he is so he's continually getting up & then I have to put him back to bed.

I couldn't resist the google bait. Aside from this being very dated news, was this really all just about Obama saying how Ellen claimed Michelle "didn't go all the way down" in a pushup contest the two women had, and the media subsequently went into overdrive by claiming he made a blowjob joke? Just goes to show that the media was already nutso long before Trump got into office. I don't think the media were ever really targeting Trump because it is a "left wing machine" like some love to claim, but simply that they have always tried to fabricate stories wherever they can, and now Trump makes it all too easy for them by giving them constant ammunition. The fake news media does exist, but Trump is also a repugnant human being. Everybody is right! cheer

Hey WL, best of luck with your Dad. I know Alzheimers can be a real struggle to deal with for everyone involved so hope you are also able to look after yourself.

I wonder if Holmes makes it, if the NFL will reference Hayne at all after all this. Would love to see Holmes get the same oppurtunities that Hayne got, with his age and the time until the next season assuming he finishes taking time off it will be great to see.

Yeah man, I work with dementia patients so I know how difficult they can be. If sleeping is a probably at night do make sure he has had his medications reviewed. Which I am sure you don't want your father on many medications, but it can help behaviourally especially if he is having trouble at night. My further advice is depending on your state they should have programs/government services/respite to also help provide certain levels of assistance/give you time to work on your own health and well being. Also don't ever think you are letting your father down if you end up needing to turn to an Aged Care Facility or Social Worker to help manage and utilise services, as that is why they are there, it is much better than this enveloping your life and you losing who you are, and as I said the services help prevent from you breaking down, or running yourself into the ground. But yeah if you need any advice, help or just want to vent about the behaviours feel free to message me.
