Making an ill conceived avatar bet. Team wise starting with Taumalolo and getting frustrated enough to dump him the week before his scores picked up.Rabbit wrote:What was your worst decision last year?

Pretty much every centre that I selected. Takaraingi, Kennar, Jimmy the Jet, Curtis Scott, and Cotric over Latrell at the end of the season.
I also sold Ramien in Round 6 when he was dropped for one week
Ooh, and what @Mulvy did as well

I wonder how Ramien will go at the knights. He will probably be priced around his average so not much appeal there but definitely capable of some high scores and pretty much has tries as a base stat so could be appealing as a set and forget from early on.

I hope Haas is in 50% of teams come kick off. Low minute bench prop who will struggle to make 50k imo

O'Sullivan won't start
Coach likes a 80 min hooker so won't opt for a reserve utility
you have 3 back rowers and a hkr/hlf on the bench. They will need big boppers hence Haas will be there
As for TPJ becoming a lock I have my doubts. He started there 3 times last year, and Offa started there 5 times. They have a different coach now so who really knows the favourite. Even Fensom might get a start so Pangai jnr and Offa can be in the front row rotation. Its hard to say at the moment but alas its only a bit over 8 weeks until TLT

Last years biggest regret was holding Thurston until after the first bye week, as too Thompson and Rochow

Good to see the board coming out of its hibernation!
Biggest regret last year was to keep telling myself that Matterson wouldn't keep scoring tries, watching the high scores, and then finally admitting my error and jumping on at the premium price right before his output dropped and he got concussion problems.

Re: 2019 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
i'd be surprised if TPJ wasn't part of our prop rotation, we've got backrowers coming out of every orifice and a big lack of experience in the front row.
