Oh I have timed this perfectly.
I mean, is there even any point in coming back to the NRL thread before SI gets here?
And yet just in time to make it to the first Page 51 party happening in a couple dozen posts.

Man am I a sucker for a centre who isn't a centre. This is why Aubbs Beating Heart always ends up snagging me (aside from his good looks of course).
Bateman and Capewell for me this year- breaking the bank but (hopefully) ensuring some solid high-floor, low-ceiling output in scores.

Any Dragons fans know why JDB's minutes were down from 68.5 and 66 the previous two years to 59 last year?

I haven’t looked at the stats but I seem to remember he was used a little differently-less of that 3rd Half style of play passing before the line? Anyone’s minutes go up comparatively last year?

Happens to be adhoc about once a fortnight / month. I think it's because I'm picking up a different ISP when I'm using wifi / mobile / lan with the laptop

Yeah, that happens to me as well. But this is everytime I leave for 5 minutes. It’s never happened before. Will check all my Settings tonight.

Carty getting a booster piece on the nrl app. Typical off season, trained the house down, back on track, improve on a lacklustre season shit. Even has a compliment or two from Trevor gillmeister. Carty at bottom dollar would be good if he got an edge spot somehow?

I saw that and honestly if he gets a starting spot I will grab him even though he burned me. But who knows how the Titans shake up. He probably ends up on the bench.

If he starts on an edge he’ll be in my Trousers. Hard to believe he was one of the most damaging Second Rowers in the comp a couple of years ago.

Had a shocking back end of 2017 and off season 17/18. Some shit with his girlfriend and not being liked at the club and suicide and stuff. Hopefully he has gotten around all of that and can put in a stellar preseason and get back to that form. Was touted as a future blue and Aus rep.

Folks live in Hervey Bay now. Much more civilised weather to what I grew up in at Townsville. Awesome winters but I don’t think I could handle the Summer humidity anymore. Perth is generally hotter, but much much drier and the rains are in Winter.

Yeah, was tearing sides apart for a while out wide. I can’t remember him being that bad defensively back then though. Even if he gets some confidence back would like to know if he’s learnt to tackle again.

His defence was ordinary even in his "good" year. I remember teams specifically targeting that edge to expose it. But from memory a lot of crabbing slapsy TBs and offloads as well as some genuinely good attack made up for it. It went to a new level of shit last year though. But as Random said, you'd pick him up if starting on an edge but I don't see it happening. He'll get his chance at some stage though.
