They obviously agreed to it though, I wouldn't have thought it would be worth it being a double header they'll have to split the gate takings.Honeysett wrote:
They certainly got the wrong end of the stick, taking a home game to QLD.

I just don't get it, especially Manly. No one likes Manly outside of Manly. They're going to be wildly outnumbered when they're usually pretty strong at Brookvale. Plus Manly are taking a home game to Perth. That's two games away from the Fortress

Maybe it's their way of saying Brookvale is not up to scratch.

Agree re Manly hate. I could understand taking a team like the Storm, or Warriors because of the support they get, but to take a game to a city where there is already a team seems pretty bizarre to me

Wow Manly have 3 games in 10 days between round 3 -5. That's a pretty big ask for any team!

Re: NRL Draw 2016
We started 2013 with 3 games in 11 days and a 4th 6 days later; so 4 games in 17 days. Played Monday, then Sunday, then Friday, then Thursday .

If somebody could let me know how to post an excel spreadsheet on to here, without the formatting turning to poo, or pm me your email address and you could do it for me.
I have made a table showing on 1 page every teams draw, home and away listed too.

Save as picture (png is best for text) and upload the picture to imgur or somewhere and link to the picture.
Or try putting [ code ] tags around the text. That preserves some formatting, although is not always as useful as you'd like

Re: NRL Draw 2016
Now that I've had a chance to have a proper look, this draw is a joke. Can the NRL make it any more blatantly obvious which teams they want in the grand final. Bronco's & Souths 6-7 day turn arounds every week, should make for a good grand final between the return of Sam against last years'choker with the opportunity to make amends Ben Hunt. `I can only assume that Uncle Nick is on the nose at NRL HQ because of his complete disregard for the salary cap and as punishment have been given 4 5 day turn arounds as have Manly. But by far the team treated with the most distain would have to be the Tigers. Not only do they get 4 5 day turn arounds, in what is suppose to be the hottest year on record they play more matches than any other team in the day. That really takes some planning to fit all those day games and 5 day turn arounds into 20 weeks. Why don't they just send them to Perth and be done with it.

Unfortunately the draw is the least of the Tigers worries.
