Have a growing interest in Sironen. Priced at 30 odd, averages around 38 as a starting second rower. Prefer him over Radley in a similar price range

Just read on NRL news how Bad Arthur brought Lane in to play right side 2nd row. He was going well at Manly and I expect that continue. My question though, Eels seem to have a decent number of back rowers, Manu Ma'u, Gower, Takairangi, Moeroa and Niukore, so it's Lane's position risky? If he locks it in, he's gonna be a smokey

Fancied mixing it up fella! Plus I was watching Die Hard in the week Laugh 3

End of an era right there Welshy!

I was contemplating a team name change as well.  My trousers have gone alright the last few years though, so kind of thinking I might jinx them. My first team name back in 2007 was "Detective Haschems" (Blue Heeler's meets Fallout irony pun).  When I changed to Trousers I think I barely finished Top 5000 the first couple of seasons, so yeah, if I'm shit this year after a name change I guess I can blame it on that again  Very Happy

All stars game looks set to be a cracker, a lot of big names playing and a good chance to have a look at some fitness levels. Only one front rower missing out of the indigenous boys, hilarious considering Latu is on the bench.

Did the same at the Dogs Badger, so maybe they are actually base stats? MASSIVE call but would have preferred him over RyMat at the Tigers; just got this feeling Matterson is going to keep having concussion issues Crying or Very sad

White Lightning wrote:I know Drinkwater is expensive due to the 1 game but that score was just a result of Drinkwater being a real talent. These are his stats in 2018 ISP (played 22games) & as you will see he has a great deal of ability:
    17 tries (2nd in ISP), 21 lb's (1st), 160 tb's (1st by country mile), 24 ta's (1st), 22 lba's (1st), 911 kick return metres (1st)

Agreed WL. Him and Munster were pretty much clones the way they both played at Easts Tigers in the QRL. Problem is Jahrome Hughes is just as good I reckon.

Was just looking at these. Also interesting players like Ponga getting picked in their future positions not ones they have form in.

I haven't actually looked at prices yet, but yep. Risk is they are both given a shot in the opening rounds.

What about Coen Hess? He had what he himself acknowledges wasn't the best year and averaged 48.5 despite an underperforming team and three starts from the bench. And we know he has the potential to go large. 1st five games in Qld. Could get off to a flyer?

@mulvy the way the cows and Paul Green have said they will play this year will definitely suit the outside backs. Looking at chancing their arm a bit and if the cows get a roll on down the field the backs will find it very easy to make metres. Could be good pick ups.
