Most of last season they didn't use a 4 forward bench. Had someone like Will Smith, Mahoney or Salmon on the bench (15 of 25 rounds they only had a 3 forward bench).

You mean they did? I myself thought Smith would be on the bench this year but apparently the word is Mahoney plays 80

No one really knows what Arthur will do to be fair. Personally, I think it's silly not to carry a utility.

Every year R. James goes on this crazy 3-4 game points bonanza. He's a machine with a big motor. He can easily play 80 minutes at prop. But I like him playing prop I think it's his best fantasy position he plays big minutes too. Playing on the edge he's not involved enough.

I agree, definitely better at prop. I guess it could happen if all this Cartwright hype is forthcoming and he starts on an edge.

Mahoney could play 80 and they have a utility available anyway. Someone like Salmon that can cover the backline.

New combo with Moylan, yes, but SJ and Townsend have played together at the Warriors.

Where’s the talk of a four forward bench? Will Smith will be there most likely.

Not understanding any attraction to Brown. Coming off injury and averaged 68 minutes last season. Where is the upside in a much stronger pack with Paulo available this year, Alvaro having a great season last year and Terepo showing he could play big minutes too. His minutes are coming down this season.

My latest attempt at a team looks a bit forward heavy and a bit light in the backs

    McCullough
    Ofa TPJ
    Jurbo Crichton Murray
    Morgan Brown
    Capewell Bird
    RTS Edwards Lomax

    Surgess
    Stimson
    Egan
    CHT

    Salmon
    Haas
    Allan
    Garrick

The more I look at it the more I don’t like it lol

I wouldn't be worried with starting guys like Lomax, Ravalawa, Sharks winger, look at Thompson last year.

Simple fact is you have to have some cheapies in your team to start because you can't afford a team full of guns and mid rangers, sounds too stupid to type but everyone worries about starting player X because they are cheap or rookies

At start of season almost always about luck, which guns fire early? Captain choice, getting the correct cheapies, which mid rangers look like taking a leap

Rookie halves are my favourite, easiest position to score decent points. km, rm, tackles, assists, potential GK
would not hesitate to start the rookie warriors and eels half in my starting 17 R1

Everyone jokes about this sort of thing but I started to take a good look at my self the other week, took my boy to cricket trials and weren't allowed to watch. So went to seafront and into the pavillion, bar had lights on but no staff, i asked for a pint, they said they weren't open and I caused a massive fuss over not being allowed a swift cider or 2!

Sad but funny now when i think back, so said fuck it ill have a few weeks off!

Then 6 nations rolls around and I sunk 15 bottles of apples in a short stint, crying then joyous over the Welsh result!

think i may have an issue Embarassed

I think that was the year I also started with Ben Lowe, 3 seasons after he ceased being Fantasy relevant Embarassed Who was his doppelgänger that was getting BLowe’s points? I don’t think it was Jason Clark?
