I’d be cheeky and say start again then but Rabs has a solid record. Did you look into DFS?mattnz wrote:

Great post and the chat that ensued was super helpful. Moses and woods were just two I wanted to look at more closely but Mansour is one I'm strongly considering.
It's basically Mansour VS RTS atm for me. Rts weaker team this season but without Johnson should get more scope.
Any views on this?
RTS is already a top option. A few extra points and that's a cut price keeper. From a data point I'm not sure where exactly those points come from but if he tries to step up and be more dominant/more involved there will be opportunities and in turn some points. Whether that's offset by teams covering him more without Johnson being there is the key. Without trials you'll need to make a gut call on RTS. I don't feel strongly about it either way.
In isolation I'd prefer RTS to Mansour. While RTS only has a 5 point upside he's a cut price keeper even if he only improves a little bit. Too much risk for me in Mansour (may not make enough money to justify the pick and more than likely will need a trade). Mansour does play the 1st bye but thats not enough for me. Byes don't matter if I'm taking RTS as a cut price keeper.
As far as team building goes though last season I started with Ponga, Tedesco and TTurbo as my back 3. This was great as they were the best and I had them locked in from rd 1. But it quickly became apparent that the downside was guys like C. Thompson was putting up similar points for 4-500k less. Obviously to get that back 3 I sacrificed elsewhere and it really hurt me to start the season. Didn't want to bring in a flyer at wfb as I'd never play them. So to take RTS now you want to be picking him over Tedesco/TTurbo which I personally can't do. I'll pay an extra 50k for him later if hes proven to be a keeper after my rookie (even if they aren't great) go up by 100k. All it takes for rookies is 1 big game to do that...

Hopoate's in a lot of teams but can't he not play until mid-season because of his age? Guess this'll be figured out by TLT.

I have valued some players higher (why I have picked them)
Smith 130 (played injured start of last season, missing lots of points he normally gets, should be back to normal)
Murray 55
Arrow 60 (if he doesn't get injured again should easily hit that based on form at start of last season)
Twal 50 (assuming starting lock)
Capewell 45
Edwards 50, Drinkwater 50
Those that are different in the teams I have higher value on too, ones like Nikora (45) and Burr (35)

Recently read that someone asked Manly to confirm and were advised he was 18 ahead of round 1.

Hence the second score I have put down mate as their potential max. I have Arrow in all teams so the higher the potential the better.
Can't see Smith going above what cook did last year fantasy wise, think 60 is fair. Twal has a lot of competition for that spot, Capewell in everyones team.
Drinkwater going at Tedesco rate probably a push but I'm looking at him

I keep hearing this but has anything been confirmed regarding age? I'm a fan of if they're good enough then they're old enough but I also thought Jordan Rankin was a great signing for the Tigers.rhinoceroo wrote:

You have no cover for either prop or 2rf so Surgess kind of picks himsel from that list, unless you turn some of your base price backs into Burr/Haas etc.
