Milchcow, with all due respects to your statistics...

You forgot Will Smith -- 100% starting to 80-minute game ratio

Also, you forgot to mention the insane number of times that Pritchard would get injured in a game when the message was to go 80.

    Are you trying to mislead?

Without all the injury shenanigans you might like to look at the 80-minute ratio from the year before.

Clear coach preference for an 80-minute hooker - finds it difficult to enact in real life because of their fragility

Only those players, and no stats breakdown I've seen yet

Is that 62 from 60 minutes game time (max)? Reserve grade hooker on for at least the last 20 minutes

Has Kerr crept into consideration? Its gin o'clock in the Kint house and Im ruminating and cogitating over a curry.

I only looked at him previously as he rhymed with Burr.

I am not trying to mislead.

Just that least year Brad Arthur said he wanted to play an 80- minute hooker, then did so only half the time. And almost always had a utility on the bench.

If Mahoney plays 80 minutes round 1, but then gets rested by Will Smith in week 2, you can't really be shocked.

Mahoney is going to very tempting if he starts round 1, but he is not risk free

I think if you compare your stats with what happened in the games, you will find this is not as likely as you think. In well more than half the games, there was no bench hooker named. In some cases, the 'bench hooker' has Nathan Brown for example. Injuries account for most of the examples where there was not an 80-minute hooker. So, I will put the misleading stats down to an honest error then. The changes in who was hooker came down to injuries and then form. Once Pritchard got injured, his replacement kept him in reserve grade, then in a bright spot at the end of the season after another injury, Reed Mahoney was a late highlight in an otherwise dismal season.

I don't watch most Parramatta games, and the one thing stats don't tell you is if I player was subbed for injury, form or just part of planned rotation. Normally someone like multiple_scoregasms will come along and tell you exactly what happened in a game, but its nice to have things clarified.

What you say does make Mahoney sound more promising (from a fantasy perspective at least)

Yeah, agree. I've had my head turned on Mahoney. He'd drifted off my radar - largely because I want to go super cheap on the int/res. I could do with a rebalance

If Egan and Mahoney are starting and look like getting 80 surely you’d be silly not to look to have both in your team
