Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
South Sydney have sent out a statement confirming George Burgess is going nowhere. He will see out the remaining year of his contract. Big call given the money on offer from Parramatta. Hopefully, he doesn’t live to regret it via Brent Read

Yep, Souths won't release George for 2019, unless Parra give them Niukore or Terepo and pay half their contracts*

Bryce Cartwright starting for Titans in the trial this weekend. Party time everyone!
Unless you think Proctor, James, Hipgrave, Peachey or Arrow will get their spot when they return.
Fotuaika also starting, but no Boyd or Wallace so hard to get excited

You'd think my big doubt would be Drinkwater but I'm nervous about Bmoz. But at his price and the strength he still shown in the WCC he's worth the risk. Plus he'll for sure bag some meat pies

I'm confused, am I being optimistic or conservative?

Sorry, I meant it's optimistic on my part to be running that backline of Bmoz, Drinkwater and Edwards. It's a little risky I reckon.
Conservative in that the scores you've mentioned as an average. I'm personally hoping to see some larger averages but what you've thrown down are much more realistic

Also, I swear to god. Every bar I go to has Captain Morgan front and centre behind the bar and I now automatically think of fantasy. Thanks Mulvy for ruining that for me you optimistic yet conservative bastard

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
Lomax (BE 15)
Averaged 42 in ISP last year (mix of centre and wing)
Scored 29 in his only NRL start last year
Drinkwater (BE 39)
Scored 57 in in his only NRL game.
Averaged 56 in ISP last year
Edwards (BE 38)
Averaged 45 before injury last year
Averaged 48 in 2018
Watson (BE 40)
Averaged 50 in 4 games in fullback in 2017
CNK (BE 25)
Averaged 30 on the wing for the Warriors
Predicted (hoped?) to play fullback in 2019
Bmoz (BE 25)
Scofed 93 in the WCC on Monday (at centre)
Averaged 28 on the wing in 2018 and 2017
Averaged 35 on the wing in 2016
He is very boom bust - lots of sub 20 scores, with a few big ones in there
Allan (BE 14)

Drinkwater
Milchy dropped the mic on him earlier
B Moz
link between team success and his fantasy scores
Year win % Fantasy average
2014 39 26
2015 62 42
2016 55 36
2017 44 29
2018 35 26
Rooster's win % last year was 68% - so expecting them to win the same amount of games he should average 42 - 45

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
Thanks lads for that feedback. +1 all round. It looks like Lomax has the biggest upside as a cow. The others are a bit of wait and see.
I think Edwards and Watson will probably be more consistent in their output.
I've gone a bit cold on Drinkwater after Milchy's sobering feedback. (only 3 wfb's avg over 45)
Will Drinkwater be a WFB gun from the get go?!

Royce Hunt (Canberra) is owned by 12% of teams. Is he meant to be a gun and is there something we are missing?

I'm pretty sure there was a 'fluff' article around the day that nrl fantasy opened re Hunt and wanting to play more NRL this year, etc..

Talking about weird ownership percentages after watching NRL Fantasy Podcast on nrl.com
Radley top owned HOK
CHT higher owned than Keighran
Haas highest owned in the game (should obviously change)
Jack Bird second highest owned
