Bit is just such a bad roster on paper (Taking out the 3 gun players). I mean, even woods on 400k is massive unders for him, I would have thought he would have been on something closer to double that.

How can a side eg. The Titans, who you would think get lets TPA offers than a side like the tigers - can build a roster that has Hayne, Proctor, Peats, Hurrell, James, Elgey, Taylor and prob a few other great players I am forgetting.

How can a side like the bulldogs - who would be in a similar boat TPA wise to the tigers (I am just guessing that) have a side that boasts Graham, Tolman, Reynolds, Mbye, Morris, Morris, Hoppa, Jackson etc.

Or the sharks who have Gallen, Fifita, Bird, Holmes, Maloney, Graham plus ennis and Barba till recently.

It seems like most sides (excluding the mess that is newcastle) have 7 or 8 fucking gun players then a few plodders/fringe players. Not 3 guns then a shit load of fringe/plodders.

The Tigers problems are the same as what the Eels were doing a few years ago. Signing promising juniors to massive contracts because they threaten to walk. Some of these guys pay off, like Tedesco but then cost you even more as youve started them on middle money and now have to pay them top money. Look at the Broncos, Cowboys, Storm(these days not the old days) they pay their young guys smaller amounts then when they have played well they get upgraded to that middle money giving the team more years together before they cherry pick which guys get the top money.

by the way TPA's that are not club associated are uncapped, the Eels were the only club stupid enough to leave a paper trail guaranteeing these TPA's (im sure every club doest it). Club sponsors or formal associations TPAs are capped

We have our page 51 parties on the threads of other teams. Its where our party budget is allocated

Tigers junior Kyle Lovett has been thrown a lifeline by the club and will only be suspended for the first two weeks of the 2017 season.

The West Tigers back-rower was caught in possession of cocaine in December and recently fronted court where he was given a six-month good behaviour bond, escaping with no conviction.

It's the same with Evans (though I can't find a link). He'd be a good get IMHO.

Don't think McQueen is a significant improvement on what we have. Would like Evans though (as long as we don't pay stupid money for him)
