Not sure if everyone played but out of these guys who played how were they? Croft, Drinkwater, Lil Pap, Lawton, Keighran, Burr, Kamikamika. Anyone else who stood out pushing for a spot in the team?

Burr had 42 fantasy points in 50 minutes according to my stats from a few pages ago. Croft and Keighran were pretty good but Croft still isn't relevant for me. Lawton didn't play and Lil Pap didn't get that many minutes I don't think, could be wrong. I really liked how Kamikamika played, deserves a bench spot but not really fantasy relevant for me

    Why what are your concerns?

I guess just having 3 players from one team sharing roles. Just seems like a high risk/medium reward scenario.

Don't let me put you off though. I'm only right about 9 times out of 10.

To me it reduces risk. Even if one gets injured in a game, the other 2 pick up the minutes in that game.

As long as all the players are undervalued, and their positions in the team are secure, it should work well.

Increases the risk for me, if all play, what minutes/scores would you expect for each?

If they share the minutes for the 2 roles, would expect something like Tevaga 60 / Burr 50 / Roache 50 and each score at around 0.8 PPM (all average over this amount). So spend $1.15M to get around 128 points per week between them.

won't they be taking points off each other? And in games where they re stuck under their posts all game and gameflow against them all likely to score low together, much more likely than all playing above their score in same game IMO

Tevaga could possibly go higher than that but I don't think Burr will play those kind of minutes or hit that PPM. I reckon he'll average like 30 if he starts

You are finding value in the 2 positions at their price points, then doesnt matter if they take points off each other, they are still all your points. In those roles, even if you are defending your line constantly, you are racking up tackles and points.

It is tough to maintain that sort of scoring in the minutes they are likely to get, Tevaga probably can, not sure Roache or Burr can.

I'd be expecting max 35 from Burr, so nothing to sniff at but having them all together I wouldn't consider

For some reason I thought Burr's age was approaching 30 but he's only 26 the commentator said. He definitely passed the eye test for me.

    From my Warriors perspective;

Burr, played good minutes, looked solid, heaps of off the ball work which coaches loves. Boys got guns!
Sao, played most the game, monster on D and hard runs. Will be fighting Burr for the bench spot. Would have had great fantasy points.
Afoa, Looked better than the rest. Was injured last year and got reduced minutes, might be a smokey mid ranger.
Keighran, was the General of the side, big boot solid across the park. 100% will be with Green round 1.
CHT, still too fresh. Kicking game was off.
Herbert, most dangerous player on the field (was fullback half the game). Looks a good find for us (thanks Dragons!)
Perham, sharp running game, nice pass on him. Certainly a future NRL player, probably at fullback, maybe centre.
Roache, played 20-30 minutes, was very sharp with front foot ball. Will be on the bench IMO, but with limited minutes after his injuries. The guy is a fitness machine, a real specimen, so can see minutes improving quickly if he stays fit.

Problem with the Warriors centres is we seem to have to many options, Kata (ball hog but generally solid), Hiku (bad D, great attack), Beale (meh), Ashyford (meh), Herbert (looking sharp), Milne (??) and possibly Perham.

Great to have league back, Storm had their chances but butched a couple tries. They were pretty well beaten in the middle of the park and in territory, so happy from a Warriors view. Drinkwater was dangerous.

Does anybody know how many minutes Croft played?

Storm were pretty average with execution tbh.. Good for both teams to shake out the cobwebs.

Burr was always a tackler but missed a few too. I remember owning him when back at the titans.
