Milford and JT, JT didn't last long and I think he became DCE. The year before Brock Lamb was a cancer in my halves that I couldn't get rid of though, as an example

Get the feeling that sans JDB, the dragons middle will be Vaughan, Graham, Sims, with Lawrie and Latimore/another prop. Frizzell will stay on an edge with Leilua used off the bench.

Drinkwater / Watson / Brimson all three are tempting, I have room for one in my side.

Have some news from a mate whose brother is mates with Chambers and apparently Chambers reckons he will be out for the first 4-6 weeks. Blairy might be in for first month of footy.

Are we going to have a glut of halves similar to last year when everyone started with multiple hookers? Will we see anyone game enough to run 2 cheapies in the halves and 1 on the bench?

No point assuming Hodko will start cos he won't

Drinkwater for me. Apparently Brimson will start off the bench & in yesterday's trial Watson was hardly used in attack with Pearce & Ponga dominating possession. Watson was solid but the majority of his runs were out of defense.

Brimson is likely to start at #14 apparently (i.e. off the bench) because Brennan wants Gordon's experience for defensive duties

IMO don't know why he doesn't play both and they swap around in defence (Brimson FB in attack, Gordon FB in defence)

And the other plays on the wing? Gordon doesn't have the X factor but he is a pretty solid all round FB. Pretty old now though.

Does Ravalawa steal the wing spot?

I was running TPJ and Tolman in my FRF. Do I just swap TPJ out for Ofahengaue?

I swapped out TPJ for Ofa, makes sense I think with Haas suspended, losing the DPP is annoying though for me as I already had Fifita locked in for one FRF

Ravalawa plays for Dragons not Titans, but off the trial he might outdo Lomax for a spot possibly

Ofa or Vaughan seem to be the picks in that price range, Vaughan with better pedigree but imo Ofa with more to prove and a big chance for a breakout fantasy season

Likely revert to my original draft of Munster/Clifford halves, Brown 17, Keighran 18-21 (so can afford one of Brown, Clifford, Keighran to be a dud). With 2-3 hookers also use Lomax to cover backline. No TPJ throws spanner in the works for bench prop cover with DPP. Might consider Burgess 14-17

Cheers mate, thought we were buried at half time but we dominated them in the second stanza! Physically battered them! So proud this morning

Lol depends how poorly they play. Could be a Tim Simona incident lol

Yeah Ofa is surely getting the Lock spot? He scored better there

    TPG apparently ok.
    But Vaughan & Ofa are great POD's with 3.4% & 1.8 % ownership

Vaughan looked great in the trial, love seeing him take two hit ups in a set of six. Should start the season well looking to impress the selectors for a rep spot. The concern is when Graham is also on the field.

Ofa scores when he was playing lock were off the charts. He'll get close to 60 minutes this year, i think he improves his average.

I watched it again today.  TMM was good too.  Did more kicking than i expected and grabbed a meaty as well. But Clifford was great.  Really like Jensen too, often finds his front and quick ptb. Could be ahead of Bolton.  McLean and Scott were good and lolo beastly.  That Hola is a big boy.

No idea if he’s got issues under a high ball or what but surely TmM to fullback is the play here with Barba gone?
