Gillet will start on reduced minutes and be eased back in. Will lose money. In a stacked pack does DFifita even get a start, any kid playing alongside Gallen is gonna lose out to that ball hog
Gallen?

Think he just got the Fifitas mixed up for a second, no biggy.

Macca
Fifita Tapau
Murray Arrow Matterson
Morgan Brown
Holland Capewell
Kahu CNK Edwards
Mahoney Stimson Egan Keighran
Hopoate Bird Burr Ravalawa
Thoughts, Cheers.
White Lightning wrote:I might choose Taupau over A. Fifita. I was 100% Fifita until Manly lost their bench props Paseka & Tanginoa so imo Taupau will be playing 60+ mins. Also Des likes playing his forwards for big minutes & gauging by the trial Des is looking to play an attacking style so Taupau should get plenty of offloads. I know Fifita is estimated to play big mins due to an inexperienced pack but in the Sharks front row they have 3 props that have big motors (Fifita, Prior, Woods) so the inexperienced pack argument I think won't be valid. It was also noticeable that in 2018 when Woods joined the Sharks the minutes of A. Fifita reduced.

Had 32 in a half of footy and running next to Munster so could see a lot of work down his edge. I have seen quite a few people jump off Stimson over the last few days but i see him hitting 45 each week and well underpriced. Stimson was my first pencilled in as soon as the season finished last year.
Second player in team behind Murray for me this year. Not sure why you wouldn't have him.

Besides Capewell/Nikora, Stimson, Murray who are locks in all teams created by most people, there isn't that many realistic options until TLT divulges its secrets
TPJ (injured), Radley + Twal + IPap (unknown role until TLT - IPap with Burr influence), Matterson (concussion problems??). JFH is one I like the look of. Taupau could get way more minutes with Paseka and Tanginoa getting injured in trial
I would need to see JFH fixing up his missed tackles before even looking at him.

I think Watson will still average around 40 odd points, but you'll get what you pay for

He played like a spud in the trial. Just a trial, and that 32 points quoted means as a potato he can still be good for Fantasy. He is staying in my team, tuber or not.

Could definitely make a case for both. 12k apart, 58 and 59 BE for both. Capable of BIG scores. Fifita 22% owned, Taupau 14% owned. Neither play Origin. I think they will both do very similar this year. Very hard decision, its a toss of the coin for me.
EDIT - on the above that i have stated. Both have some high BE's, with a poor game 1 that BE could go even higher and could lose some money over the first 4-5 rounds while they kick into gear.

I look at it this way - Pearce and Keary do all the directing and set up at the chooks and Teddy scores well so there's no reason for Watson not to score well - he just needs to inject himself.
