Dragons have named their squad for the charity shield, looks to be full strength. No JDB, but it sounds like he will be suspended.

Reports in Storm are $600k over the cap and if they can’t become compliant within 16 days they won’t play round 1. Even worse, the last player signed rule would come into effect meaning CS9 could be gone!

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS
1. Connor Watson, 2. Edrick Lee, 3. Jesse Ramien, 4. Sione Mata’utia, 5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall, 6. Kalyn Ponga, 7. Mitchell Pearce, 8. David Klemmer, 9. Danny Levi, 10. James Gavet, 11. Mitchell Barnett, 12. Lachlan Fitzgibbon, 13. Tim Glasby. Interchange: Herman Ese’ese, Aidan Guerra, Daniel Saifiti, Kurt Mann, Hymel Hunt.
Note that other players will likely get a run late in the game, outside of the those named.
Knights probably the most uninteresting team re fantasy (largely due to Barry Toohey always being great with mail, so everything is already known). So yeah, I'd say that is pretty much their round 1 lineup unless Hymel Hunt is deemed fit/suitable and comes into the centres.

I am surprised Guerra is benched again for Barnett. Personally I think Barnett is rubbish.

I thought Easy E was huge for them last year. Gavet must’ve impressed Brown pretty largely for him to leapfrog Easy E

Storm Questioen -
Marion Seve over Blair, Olam, Earl
Stimson could possibly have it sewn up and it’s betqeen KBrom and kaufusi for the other
Welch in over JBrom.
I don’t take much from that list apart from Drinkwater is definitely No. 1
