My current bench is: Mahoney, whitehead, Cartwright, Capewell. There are no areas in my team where there is an obvious upgrade. But obviously some weaknesses but need a big shuffle to fix them.

I'd keep it. You'll need it to buy missed cows anyway. And the extra spent might not even get you anymore points anyway. So as long as your happy with your team I'd keep it.

I rarely keep cash in the bank, and it usually bites me.

So many 212k players available this year, but the problem is, if you miss someone and want to jump on after week 1, then you have to downgrade elsewhere to get the cheapie you missed.

Right now I've managed to squeeze Fifita in, leaving 66k in the bank, but my back 3 is very weak (currently Hughes + CNK + 212k).

Haven't watched it yet, but why is everyone ditching Edwards?

I had him and have ditched him. Both trials he went missing and didn't look impressive at all I know they were just trials but I would rather find the extra money and put RTS in instead

Just redid my team after the trial carnage, thoughts?

    Mahoney
    A Fifita, Joe O
    Stimson, Murray, Arrow
    Cleary, Widdop
    Nikora, Holland
    CNK, RTS, Lomax

Hampton, Ah Mau, L Leilua, Keighran

    DBrown, Ravalawa, Xerri, Garrick

    $72K ITB

    - Not 100% on L Leilua, other options there are Sironen, Capewell, CHN etc.

He was pretty much the only first grade starter playing for the Roosters. You'd want to hope he looked good

Has anyone given much thought to Jake Friend? Any idea on his likely role/minutes/roosters bench?

Lowe was actually really good and played big minutes and even played some centre I think.  He choked on the conversion and a crusher tackle but he looked confident and fit and seemed to be back to how he was pre neck injury.  He may get a start at some stage as Sam IMO is much better in the middle.

    .

He had a great season on the right edge the last time Cowboys made the GF. Hardly missed a game and was 18th man for QLD at one point before Hess arrived,

The second annual R0bdOg Memorial Cash Comp is open:

    https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t845-cash-comp-2019-the-r0bdog-memorial

    Details in thread, but essentially:

    -$50 buy in
    -transfer is safe via PayPal

Last year we had a pool of $1650; with the winner (MTB) taking home a tidy $850. Open to all. If you don't have PayPal it is very easy to setup.

The minutes are all fucked on the app, hard to get a good read on scores.

It says Edwards got 31 but in 50 mins (probably wrong minutes)
