Whys everyone’s thoughts on DCE if Hokko gets the 6? How did he score with Hokko beside him last year?

You may get more considered responses if you post your team here ... https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/f11-assistant-coach
I was tossing up starting with Mahoney but he can just sit in 14-17 and I'll start with FAC I think.

Bethany_B wrote:I have a few questions regarding my team, thoughts?

    Mahoney
    A Fifita, LAM
    IPap, Murray, Arrow
    Cleary, Widdop
    Holland, Nikora
    RTS, CNK, Lomax

    Hampton, Stimson, Paulo, Keighran/CHT

    DBrown, Allan, Ravalawa, Xerri

    $120K ITB

Notes: Once Widdop gets dual, I'll likely play DBrown over Lomax and put Widdop in my WFB.

    My questions are:

    - Is Hampton a good enough backup hooker to Mahoney? He looked pretty good last year at centre and fullback and seems to have a centre spot locked down, and if not that then it'd be fullback.

    - Is LAM worth it as a 2nd prop? I really rate him at the Warriors, he seems like he'll get more minutes there and he's a PPM machine. Other options if I don't go with him are Joe O, TPJ, Vaughan etc.

    - Is Junior Paulo a bad idea for a depth prop and bench player? He runs hard and from what I've heard, Parra are running a 3 forward bench which really helps him (and considering Mahoney didn't go off when Smith came on, it shouldn't affect him).

    Cheers lads

We do have a group league Sipi, but it is only open to those in the seeded Leagues.  A few reasons for this, but primarily it makes the in house Eliminator easier to manage and also means we don't get "ring ins" (not that you are a ring in Laugh 3  but it's just something we've done for many years).  Sorry mate.

Alternatively, you can join the ground breaking and history making L10!!!  Then we can send you the Group/Overall code as well Very Happy

Hoping to spark some convo around my team here. It's not intentionally POD / non-cookie cutter but I see value in it:

    OUT OF THE BOX

    Macca (C)
    Ofa Tolman
    Arrow Matterson Murray
    Croft/Niko Morgan
    Holland Nikora
    RTS CNK Kahu

    Mahoney Whitehead Stimson Antivax
    4x 212k

    $125k ITB

HOK Macca scored 49 in 60min
FRF undervalued but looking to score 90+ between them
2RF all value, might not keep Matterson (awkward price)
HLF Croft is underpriced if he is in form but Niko looked great, happy with 80-90 each week until I can upgrade
CTR Holland is a gun, Niko can be swapped with Xerri or Lomax if necessary
WFB Tuivasa-Scheck probably slightly undervalued (might swap him to Wighton or Edwards), CNK mid-cow, Kahu looks good at the back and he's cheap

BENCH Mahoney obvious, Whitehead should average 7+ above price, Stimson if starting, Carty (difficult moral pick-provax) but 40 tackles is hard to ignore at that price

Is there a competition between the leagues to be the top scoring one?

He is a pass. He looks to be starting on the bench which means he wont get the minutes.if he bags a starting spot he is an option, but he could do that mid year and be a good CashCows then.

Kind of but as Captain for L51 there is no competition. We are the best league.

We also don't take the H2H aspect of the League too seriously unless it's for gloating purposes.

Also if you like big groups we have the $50 R0bD0g Memorial Comp which is an overall competition with cash prizes.

I had absolutely zero intention of picking him, until today, as I'm trying to squeeze in Fifita.. and to be honest, I'm doing a good job of convincing myself..

WCC was a bonus and just franked his form in that in a team like that who are going to put on a lot more points on teams than they did against Wigan that a try for him could easily be a base stat.

Roosters could put 50 on the likes of Eels Warriors Dragons. Lot to like

Trying to figure out my bench is a nightmare. I’m tempted to run with no FRF because of how much value there is elsewhere. FRF of Fifi and TPJ/offa my bunch is made up of Mahoney, IPap, Garner and Lleilua with 159k remaining
