There was alot of excitement about Brett Morris after the WCC (as there is any player who goes well in a trial). Is everyone cold again?

I had absolutely zero intention of picking him, until today, as I'm trying to squeeze in Fifita.. and to be honest, I'm doing a good job of convincing myself..

He'll certainly have more opportunities there than he did at the bulldogs

    Ahhhhh, KFP's Fantasy crush!

I have had no intention either, but my WFB has been completely wiped so he might get a look in.

I want to get out my tin foil hat just for a second. Anyone think it was convenient that the one game you could bet on over the weekend Ashley Klein was invloved and the non favourite won..

    Certainly a trend happening

We do have a group league Sipi, but it is only open to those in the seeded Leagues. A few reasons for this, but primarily it makes the in house Eliminator easier to manage and also means we don't get "ring ins" (not that you are a ring in Laugh 3 but it's just something we've done for many years). Sorry mate.

Alternatively, you can join the ground breaking and history making L10!!! Then we can send you the Group/Overall code as well Very Happy

    interesting thought.
I was going with Croft but I'm not sold. Niko is an option in that price range with new coach and permanent halves position. Thoughts?

All pretty confidential at the moment but not a good look for the game we all love
I do enjoy a bit of NRL drama.

    Would you rather
    a) Surgess (bench dpp) and Hughes if FB
    Or
    b) IPap and RTS
    Or
    c) Offa (bench) and Hughes

Surgess would be my only FRF cover

OR Gillet with dpp if he gets it

Moses Suli set to be the man to fill Dylan Walker's boots at right centre for Manly. Brendan Elliot to be fullback for Round 1, but Tom Trbojevic recovering quickly.

pros - some really good backrowers to work with + more of a license to roam (apparently)
cons - never been a fantasy gun and has 3 backup options gunning for his spot

i've had him in one draft side but i'm not convinced
    edit: niko that is

I think Hughes is a gun footballer, but from the games he played last year, he just didn't seem that fantasy relevant.

@wolfking - I agree, great head on him and smarts to match. Maybe with a longer more consistent stint and not swapping between half and fb all year he might find that confidence to insert himself a little more. Showed glimpses of it last year. BE of 34 and avg of 41 at FB (4 games last year.) mind you he only scored above 41 once when at FB but for the reasons above I can see that number increasing. He is ready to win that spot back and make it his! He was one of my picks to go boom this year before Drinkwater came onto the scene, was very disappointed when he was put to backseat driver because he just signed with us again due to this reason.
