It's a punt. Could turn out like Jarrod Wallace that year when he just kept getting big mins via injuries and team shuffling/etc.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Thread Part 9
I'd love to pick Lawrie because he is a guy who'll just score points if he has suitable minutes. Obviously the worry is that Sims back in round 3 pushes him to 5th in the 'middle' pecking order. That said, you never know what will happen and by then, they may push Frizzel back out to the edge and Lawrie keeps getting the middle mins.

Of the short term forward replacements (for K Sims, Kikau and Chris Lawrence) I think Garner probably has the best potential for scoring and longevity, but you'll be taking a bit of a punt whoever you go with.

This makes the most sense, particularly because C. Lawrence will be the easiest to oust for a starting position. Also remember Haas comes back Round 3 so you get to look at him and can trade down to him for whoever you initially start with after his first game.

Doesn't Haas come back Round 5, isn't he suspended for 4 games (or did the trial games count)

I doubt haas will even slot back in to a starting spot.
Probably see him come off the bench for a 20 minute stint.
Broncos so stacked up front this year.

@Milchy love your work. Any chance all trial games for the last weekend can be updated (fantasy points) somewhere?
I don't have the app so just trying to get fantasy scores somehow. Thanks.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Thread Part 9
I would like to discuss the following players and see what others have to say:
Radley: Should hit somewhere between 40-45 if starting lock playing 50 minutes. The loss of Napa probably means Liu is used in prop rotation for slightly more minutes. Good bench option covering hooker and second row.
Garner: Likely type, can break tackles and if playing 50-55 minutes could score 35ish. Injuries mid game mean he would likely move out to centre/wing but at 340K, given he probably won't play 80, any extra minutes playing out of position will be a bonus.
Niukore: Good player, just needs the minutes, 1 or both of him and Lane will be good buys (if play close to 80) so probably less risk in taking Niukore given lower starting price. Playing on right outside Moses. Hoping Will Smith on bench if Ma'u injured.
I Papali'i: played himself into my side again, given he is a worker it's likely he will play big minutes and spend time in the middle also.

yes I will get around to it.
but I manually chuck all the numbers from the app into a spreadsheet, it can be a bit time consuming so will probably drip feed over the next day or so.
Warriors vs Tigers is ready to go, other will come up when I get some time

I am thinking of running with two POD's this year. Probably looking at having them in my 2RF or Halves as there is so much value there this year.
Also I did see a cool idea on a facebook page - was a POD league where all players had to be below 5% ownership.

He's one of my favourite players. He plays like rubbish most of the game then does something incredible. Plus when I use to drink alcohol Cody's was a great drop.

I'd never heard of Cody's till I started watching Police Ten 7. Is it just the show, or is Cody's the equivalent of our Bundy, predisposes to violence and bad decisions!
