Whoops, forgot about Ryan being injured. Is he playing 2RF this season?

I put him in my side yesterday and it helps woth cash spend. The big worry for me is he could lose that starting edge spot come round 2.

No, the official NRL app is not available in NZ. There is a way to get it but it involves using a VPN and setting up a duplicate Google account - for Android anyway. It also means using the VPN and fiddling around every time the app is updated.

Maybe it was a throwaway comment, but Siebold said in the presser that "all three of those guys will be in our best 17" when talking about Gillett, Fifita, and Su'A.

With Glenn locked in for left edge, that may mean both Fifita and Sua on the bench (if Pangai is lock, gillett right edge).

Or more likely round 3 when Sims comes back. But the impression I got is that Frizzel lock, and Lawrie is getting Sims' bench spot for the first two rounds. Risky but could be worth taking.

Host doesn't inspire me at all. Would much prefer Leilua to start. Who are the starting props? Vaughan and who?

Graham. And yeah Leilua could be the bigger threat to Host rather than Sims coming back from suspension.

Yeah this. Just doesn't seem like a player who is going to stay in the first grade side for any length of time. Admittedly, I know nothing about him, but he's been around a couple of years now, and I'm yet to even notice him in a game. Unremarkable

Actually reading the article, Macgregor isn't quoted as saying Host has the spot. The only thing he is quoted on is:

"They were a bit indecisive but Tyson has been training on that right edge all pre-season and obviously we have moved him this week so the next person who goes there [right second-row] will have a couple of weeks to prepare," McGregor said.

"I will name my centre and winger early next week so that combination can have a couple of weeks to get ready for round one.

I will still probably chuck both Host and Lawrie into my team. But have to go without Leilua if on bench. Especially with no Korbin Sims first two rounds.

Appears as though the five middles will be Vaughan, Graham, Frizell, Sims, Lawrie so appears Lawrie will keep his spot even when Sims comes back.

Host has ousted Leilua to start, is that because Leilua is more a left edge player? But when Korbin returns potentially he goes to lock with Frizell going back to right edge.

BLawrie is a much better option than Host.

Is Hetherington worth a look if he only gets the first 3 weeks?

How much money do you think he would make in those 3 weeks? Considering he costs $100k over rookie price I'd be wanting some significant difference in points output to any rookie I would have had in his place. Plus you'd then have to either trade him out, or put him on the bench and watch his value erode if he's only getting low minutes.

Without doing any calculations I'd say no, but one of our learned colleagues might she better light. He's much more viable in VSDT where prices don't change until a player has played 3 weeks so you can get a feel for someone's value after they've actually played instead of it being a lot of prediction like here.

I am far more keen on Garner and will go that way. Blake Lawrie will be my FRF cover at this stage.
