Also ducks have giant feet. A duck sized horse would just squish all of the tiny horses.
    Duck sized horse maybe...

400 tiny hooves would be vicious though if they could somehow swarm the giant duck. Strength in numbers

A horse can jump twice it’s height at best, a duck has long legs with strong ankles. There’s just no weakness there for tiny horses to exploit.

    Bread.

Bread is the giant duck’s weakness. The horses just need to take along a loaf of Mighty White, throw it behind the duck, then swarm it’s arse.

Judging by these comments I’d suggest a 5 minute nrl podcast, any longer is too much for your audience to pay attention to.

I'd consider starting a giant duck as a FRF in my team.

Get some fantasy talent on board as well, you mods are hopeless.

A serious question though, what is it about coaches that makes us overlook players without a genuine reason? The basis for this is Morgan and Hampton, everyone should have them but they dont. I’ve gotten sick of pointing it out because it’s so regular.

Laying down the smack right here !

I think players low periods and / or flat spots can stick in peoples minds, and some a lot more than others etc. Hampton for example had a lot of fantasy history where he was a bit part player with low minutes (from memory, i'm 41yo Yikes ) He killed it last year if you scooped at the right time and did the ole catch n' release.

End of the day, i can see a lot of podtential in this idea going forward.

Why does the NRL's official Fantasy game have a website that looks and feels like it is from the late 1990's? I've just jumped over from playing NBA on sleek and fast platforms like Yahoo/Fantrax etc. The drop in standard is disappointing.

Who would you have your money on in an arm wrestle between pookus and rabs?

For a footy one pre TLT. Name one player you think no one is talking about right now who will be a popular talking point come tuesday? I’ll start you off with an example - Tyrell Fuimaono

If you do it post TLT, you could cover some of the finer points of what the team announcements mean, i.e. why player combinations make some players better picks than others based on who was named on the bench

There are heaps of constants among the discussion here to wade into, gun halves, to Ted or not to Ted, the whole Melbourne spine, the broncos pack and who gets bell ends minutes.
If it continues I’d love to see one with White Lightning discussing opposition based selections. I think it’s ridiculous but he talks about it a lot and is consistently a great coach.
So are you going to do this? My front row is shot to shit again, I've got Surgess FFS.

I still like the idea of some kind of 'studs & duds'/surprises and flops type discussion or countdown. Biggest regret or thing you guys would have personally changed pre-R1 if you knew what you know now. Reserve choices for this week (Brown vs Keighran II for example).

What I enjoyed about the first one is that even though a lot of the players discussed I had no interest in, the fact they were discussed at all made me at least have a look at them.

I know team setup plays a large part in this but I'd love a section on the mid range/value players that had a pre-season narrative and if after rd 1 you think it's a buy, hold or sell. Some examples below but feel free to pick any player you are interested in.

Taupau - Lack of Manly FRF depth = big minutes (55+)
    Radley - 55 min lock (45+)
    Holland - Goalkicking + 2018 form (45+)
Bateman - Super League gun form with a high price point (??)
Macca - 80 mins with more kicking in play (55+)
    Mahoney - 80 mins (45+)
TPJ/Offa/Gillett (who is the value bronco forward)
Bird - Fat and useless trap (15-20)

    Also as a 2 parter:

    1. Are there any cows you'd give up on after one week?
    2. Who are your favourite 3 cows to bring in (under 300/350k). Maybe avoid people with over 20% ownership as that shows most have them.

I'd like to discuss how people have their TV's and Tech setup to enjoy the game and play fantasy.

Most games I'm watch on tv via foxtel and using mobile to track the live scores and check the forum. Gets a bit clunky so keen to see what others do.
